Our Introduction:
We are starting our Dao, the Octopode Dao, inspired by our studio.
Our main goals are Art, Technology and Innovation.
Provide training for artists, use technology to share information with the community, courses and experiences.
To provide innovative environment for experience exchange.
Besides sharing advertising and marketing content.
Respecting the creative experience flow of each Dao member, and participants of the trainings. Committing ourselves to deadlines and the community
The ‘‘tentacles’’ that characterize the guidelines and values of our dao are:
Innovation, Education, Art, Technology, Collectivity, Research, Communication and Social.
EDUCATION: Here we understand education as the training of artists in the functioning of NEAR. To train artists to have a broad understanding of how this community works, making them think about how their artistic work can dialogue with the community and forming networks that dialogue with each other and with the external community of NEAR.
RESEARCH: We value research as a form of autonomous education that extends the responsibility to create, develop, and discover to the researcher, thus generating a personal value as well, not only of learning, but of living with the community, with the near system, and strengthening the spirit of curiosity. And it is through research, and the presentation of new ideas, and new questions that a more decentralized and innovative society is built.
ART: Without it what would we be? Or better yet, without them?
The arts are what inspire, transmit, explain, and leave us questioning as well. Art for sure is one of our strongest and main tentacles, we have in our dao, artists and art teachers as councils and members. And it is these people, us who build these ideas, and values with the community, thinking art, living art is for sure a motto of the Octopode Dao. We prioritize living art.
COMMUNICATION: Communication is essential, we value communication, through marketing, through art, through the vast forms of expression. It is the transmission, sharing and dissemination of all the artistic and educational work that the near system produces, spreading it both within the near’s ecosystem and externally to the community at large through the updated platforms and social media.
TECHNOLOGY: We value the use of technology for creation, education, art, and innovation. Through them we can communicate, experience, transform realities and create new perspectives of life from the artistic experience in the fruition of the works of the artists of the near projecting a new virtual artistic practice
INNOVATION: Without diversity there is no innovation. Let’s remember that this dao values diverse projects that embrace these values, and that think about innovating, be it ideas or attitudes.
SOCIAL: Go beyond the virtual community. With the objective of bringing NEAR’s work to the public and to the field, Octopode dao intends to externalize its work to communities, peripheries, schools, community centers, NGOs, associations, collectives and other forms of social associations so that the public outside NEAR may have access to the making and artistic enjoyment, allowing them access to the arts developed by Octopode as well as knowledge of this virtual community. 10% of the value of all funds received from this date on will be destined to a social portfolio, which every quarter will be withdrawn and will benefit families, NGOs, people in vulnerable situations, or social projects focused on art.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW THAT THE 10% REMITTANCE WILL BE CHARGED TO EACH PROJECT AND COUNCIL, FROM THE FUND RECEIVED BY CREATIVES.
COLLECTIVITY/COMMUNICATION: Collectivity is synonymous of diversity, of communicating and sharing, of solving in a collective way. Our Dao values firm and strong foundations, so that we can flow without dismantling what we have built with so much dedication. Building is also collective, we can experience the individual, but without the collective experience it would be very complicated, even for us to exist. Communicating collectively, and finding ourselves in our differences, sharing is one of the most important goals of this dao, besides building collectively.
Updated project schedule: We started the meetings for the month on the 1st, but we will be executing the projects as soon as they are approved at Creatives.
Council Matters / Administrative Affairs :
Organizing Proposals, and reports.
Meetings to organize Dao, and to create improvements.
Create, build and transform ideas.
Finalize the writing of the Dao’s Rules (Rules like, evaluate projects that cover the values of Dao, the “tentacles”, and from that approve projects made for Dao)
Write proposals, invite people to honor the work of the colleagues that make projects
Follow up and help the researchers during the months of the grant.

It is estimated that the reach from the first minting of the NFT’s until 07/07 is 35 people.
Workshop at Cryptovoxels: 3 and 6 participants in each class.

Brazilian Music at Near: the band’s authorial show and will leave it on display together with a photo essay coined as NFT in the DAO Gambiarra space in cryptovoxels. NFT works will also be available in bidders’ wallets and a band-specific wallet will be created on mintbase for dissemination, circulation and purchase by blockchain users.

Microlearning - post every Friday - Content exposed in the format of short texts for social networks and NFTs, with objective language and concise presentation, on the following topics:

Live - date to be defined - mediation of a chat with members of Octopode Dao, in the format of a “round table”, about the challenges posed by technology and the repercussion in the various branches of law, broadcast on the Octopode Dao networks.

At 3h) of digital painting, and each participant who wants to share their visual production as well, in a relaxed chat while experiencing the visual production.
At the end of everything, a PDF with the slides of the class will be shared.

Works produced on the day of the class can be minted at Mintbase’s OCTÓPODE DAO store. All participants will be invited to join the Octópode store
RESEARCH PROJECT AT NEAR:
4 Scholars will present their individual research in 4 moments.
These surveys will be minted at the DAO store, and which presentation videos will be available on DAO’s youtube.
RESULTS:
RESEARCH PROJECT AT NEAR: The project proposal is justified in the sense of giving qualification and practical experience to the scholarship holder in initiation at Near. Providing theoretical-practical research, the project will make the blockchain member, after going through this experience, have more ease, repertoire and knowledge of operating on the next platform, in addition to creating and producing works of art moving the platform beyond creation, mintage. and commercialization of NFT works in the future. Both the members that make up the DAO Octópode and the fellows who will be part of the research initiative and Near itself can only benefit from the execution of this project, as it will leave in each member an educational and formative legacy that will add quality to their artistic productions within the platform.
EXHIBITION 8 THIRD EDITION:
Publicize more and show in an art form what the DAO principles are, creating the opportunity for the artist to publish their works, transforming them into NFT. Generating opportunities for exhibitions is a way of encouraging new artistic productions, encouraging the artist to continue producing.
BRAZILIAN MUSIC IN NEAR:
Brazilian Music Project at Near: Knowledge of blockchain, mintbase and cryptovoxels by ‘‘Koé records’’, creation of at least 15 NFT’s of the band and photographic exhibition and the show making the band and their following public have knowledge and access to the platform NEAR
CRYPTOVOXELS CLASS / METAARCHITECTURE: Deep knowledge by blockchain members about metaconstruction, as well as the general public that will be reached by youtube and outside of cryptovoxel.
ATELIER EXPERIENCES PROJECT: It is understood how important it is to visualize the history of art from a perspective focused on artistic productions made by women, as well as the importance of being told the story of other places not only focused on the European continent. The realization of this project will deal with the voice of an Arts Teacher, Brazilian, a brief introduction of the history of art, from cave paintings (with a focus on Brazilian rock art) to the artistic production of the infamous NFTs. During this class, Latin American productions by women muralists will be presented, which were made invisible and little mentioned (still) in the history of art.
DIGITAL LAW PROJECT: Strengthen the principles and values of Octopode DAO, especially with regard to research as a basis for other actions, with the promotion of topics relevant to the community within the perspective of concepts related to Technology and Law.
