Near Africa Gamers is a community focused on onboarding young African gamers and game builders into the Near ecosystem and fostering the growth and promotion of games built on Near among Africans.

Our team is stacked with well experienced enthusiasts who have been in the space long enough and have been helping immensely in marketing, onboarding and education of members.

We received funding from Africa Dao in April and we were able to achieve our KPIs. We had bigger plans for May but we weren’t funded. We seek grant from the DAO to help us market games on Near and carry out activities in other to onboard and educate more gamers.

A. 50% increase across all social platforms
B. 3 games to be engaged: we will choose a game for the week, teach members how to play, and then organize a contest to have members engage the games.
C. 700+ transactions from game playing and activities on Near social
D. At least 2 partnerships with offchain/onchain communities
E. 3 articles, 3 Infographs and 2 YouTube videos
F. 30+ unique addresses , 7k+ impressions on X

This entails onboarding with keypom, promotion on our socials, giveaways and partnerships with off-chain/onchain communities.
B. Community engagement: $500
4 internal AMAs (education on Near ecosystem and GameFi) $40

3 Twitter/Near Social shilling contest: after each game review, members of the community will be asked to make a tweet/post on NS about what they learnt about the game and why they recommend the game to others, with key hashtags: $60
