Title: LOOZR - FUNDING PROPOSAL FOR MAY - 2023

Dear NEAR Community,

We, the Loozr team, are applying for funding to support our marketing and community activation efforts on the NEAR ecosystem.

  1. BACKGROUND INFORMATION
  • Loozr introduction

Loozr is a social music streaming and DeFi platform that enables music and content creators to tokenize their music and potential on the NEAR blockchain for fans to autonomously trade, invest in their craft, and grow/earn collaboratively (currently on Testnet).

  • Team Background

The Loozr team consists of experienced builders and music enthusiasts committed to democratizing the music industry and improving monetization. We acquired 20,590 new users and handled over $400,000 on-chain during the Testnet launch. The team members have diverse backgrounds in blockchain, fintech, software, game development, immersive experiences, and entertainment. They prioritize collaboration, interoperability, and inclusivity with partners in the Web3 music, NFT, and Metaverse space, as well as individual creators on NEAR.

Despite being built at the peak of the bear market, Loozr is one of the fastest-growing projects in the creative space globally.

Artist Spotlight: We bring in creators, Grammy award-nominated musicians, spotlighting independent artists, and having a live session where they are educated and onboarded.

Women Web3 Wednesday: by Loozr is a weekly Twitter Spaces for women in Web3 to network, collaborate, and share their views. Over 8 months, it has reached 20k women in 20 countries and facilitated collaborations and opportunities.

Creator Fest’ Economy: We engage the creative community with renowned and successful builders, creators, DOGs, etc. We also onboard creators from other chains like Sui, Aptos, etc., which make up a greater percentage of the Loozr community (also airdrop new users little NEAR token to signup via our custom QR code).

Office Hours: We have one-hour developer hours with our dev team to help developers build on NEAR, understand how NEAR works, and debug Loozr platform live coding.

Our roadmap for the next three months is as follows:

  • Conduct Seed/Private sale

  • Launch on Mainnet and enable full functionality for our users.

  • Implement new features and functionalities such as, artist royalties, and community governance mechanisms.

  • Expand our user base by partnering with leading music artists and content creators, conducting social media and influencer campaigns, and organizing community engagement events.

  • Optimize the user experience and improve the overall performance of the platform.

  • Explore cross-chain interoperability with other blockchain networks to enhance the user experience and enable seamless transactions across different platforms.

  • DAO’s Milestones for proposal

Loozr’s milestones for this proposal include:

  • Increase our user base by 50% over the next three months, with a focus on onboarding music and content creators to the platform.
  • Generate a minimum of $10,000 in transaction volume on the Loozr platform over the next three months.
  • Host at least two community engagement events per week and maintain an active presence on social media platforms.
  • Launch new features and functionalities on the platform and incorporate feedback from our users to improve the overall user experience.

II. PROPOSAL

Project 1 (a copy for each different project is required)

Description: This project aims to support our marketing and community activation efforts over the next three months. We plan to conduct social media and influencer campaigns, host community engagement events, and collaborate with leading music artists and content creators to expand our user base and increase awareness about our platform. Additionally, we will be working on optimizing the user experience, launching new features and functionalities, and exploring cross-chain interoperability with other blockchain networks.
Expected outcome: We expect to achieve the following outcomes from this project:

• Increase our user base by 50% over the next three months.

• Generate a minimum of $50,000 in transaction volume on the Loozr platform over the next three months.

• Host at least two community engagement events per month and maintain an active presence on social media platforms.

• Launch new features and functionalities on the platform and incorporate feedback from our users to improve the overall user experience.|
