Happy new year as we are all looking forward to big things ahead in 2022! After successfully launching our very own KIL DAO in December 2021, KIL would like to organize two more shows in January that will feature some of the best independent talents in Malaysia. KIL aims to bring diversity in order to evolve for each of our events. With that being said, we would like to feature one rock act and one hip hop act for our next set of shows. The goal and aim is to raise the level of energy at the CV hence on why we want to focus on those two genres for our first two shows in 2022.

Project and Timelines for KIL Live in January 2022

  • Proposed Dates and Venue : January 23rd & January 30th 2022 at The Playground, Cryptovoxels
  • Time : 9pm - 10pm
  • Live performance/ special showcase from one headlining artist for each show. The artist and KIL will self produce and pre-record a performance for the showcase. The showcase will be streamed via KIL’s Twitch channel and broadcast at The Playground CV.
  • Each artist will be given a duration of 30 minutes to perform for each showcase. The audience will then be directed to the virtual gallery to view or purchase an exclusive NFT by the artist. Deadline for the artist to submit the video recordings and NFT art is on the 20th of January 2022. All files will be submitted via a google drive link created especially for both events.
  • KIL will mint 2 NFT’s created by the artist on our official MINTBASE Store.
  • 3 NFT’S and 50 USD worth of NEAR will be given out during the event. The criteria to obtain those rewards is to have a newly created NEAR account along with sharing the best caption about the event on Social Media. Winners will be tracked via tags @keepitlocal.asia @nxmlive and hashtags #KILDAO #NEAR
  • The event will be promoted via KIL’s channels on social media including Instagram, Facebook, Clubhouse, Twitter and Tik Tok.

Funding Breakdown

Cost Breakdown for Keep It Local Live Event

  • Event Management for 2x events - $800
  • Performance Fee for 2x artist - $1000 ( 500 USD each)
  • Venue fee for The Playground at Cryptovoxels - $100 for 2x events
  • Streaming fee - $100 for 2x events
  • Marketing and Promotion for 2x events (Design for posters and promo materials) - $100
  • Total : $2100 (128.127 NEAR)

hello team :slight_smile: Happy to say the proposal is approved. However, I don’t understand this breakdown.

Current NEAR price is: $15.74 (00:59 Portugal time). Can you please submit the proposal to our astrodao with that conversion.

Hey @frnvpr that’s great news! Thank you for the continuous support. We appreciate this and apologies for the error, thanks for pointing that out. I have already updated it and submitted for a payout proposal via Astrodao. I have kept it at 128.127 NEAR as initially requested as I understand the price has dropped since.
