BOS Developer Event

Event Details

  • Expected Attendees: 1000 Attendees including developers, tech enthusiasts, and blockchain experts

How does this benefit NEAR?

  • Grow about 5-10 widgets/components on BOS

Total: $8000

@Dacha This is $1000-$2000 per developer if we speak about marketing acquisition cost. This is way too high.

@IgbozeIsrael Please, reach out to the Hack community to get support.

Hello @frol!
I spoke with Hackbox team a month ago. Their response was that this kind of event will only be funded around February next year.

I had a call with Nneoma and Sharufa to confirm this.

Also, about your comment on the amount being high, we are not just talking about building normal widgets. We are talking about building products that will be useful to Africans and NEAR. I DON’T think $2k can be enough for anyone to build a gaming tool on BOS.

I think the word widget/component used is bringing confusion.

However, we are focused on what will be useful in retaining transactions because newbies can be able to use.

Hi @IgbozeIsrael could you share a link to your Report on this event please. Thanks
