Updated Project Timeline:
- We are delighted to announce the four artists awarded with the 3rd edition of our Artist Stipend Program. The winners are: Francisca Sousa, João Saiote, Leonardo Gonçalves and Lígia Fernandes. This edition had more applicants than the 1st and 2nd editions combined and we increased the jury members from 3 to 4
- The awarded artists in our 2nd edition started to submit their reports. Here is the testimony of Elizabeth Ramos and Manuela Romeiro
- Introduction to Afrofuturism: a temporal short circuit was the 3rd Seminar held by Incubadora’s educational project. It was presented by Dr. Kênia Freitas, a researcher and film critic from Brazil. It was a major success, we had more than 30 attendees and the seminar video will soon be available on our YouTube channel
- We went to Manuela Romeiro’s house/atelier in São Miguel de Acha village with our fellow partners from CUDO DAO to record the pilot episode of our Artist Interviews by CUDO x Incubadora project. The final video will soon be displayed on our YouTube channel. This is the beginning of CUBA SHOTS!!
- We started a remodeling process in our Mintbase Store, reviewing prices and reselecting NFTs for sale. We also launched a new store in Mintbase, called “Incubadora - artists”. This store will be more focused on the artworks made by Incubadora artists and we already sold 2 NFTs by Manuela Romeiro
- Juliana Matsumura inaugurated the Kawa Kami exhibition related to Kawa Kami Virtual Version project, and minted several NFT’s related to the project evolution. Also, the project Travel Podcast by Giulia Gallina louched the first season of her travel literature podcast called “Zephiro”
In order to carry out the actions we planned for this DAO we request funding for the following activities in March:
Council Matters:
- Council = 500 (5 x 100 USD) = 9,63N (each)
Administrative Matters:
- DAOs administrative work including multiple reports and fund requests = 250USD = 24N
- Mintbase stores management = 200 USD = 19,26 N
- 3xr gallery curatorship = 200 = 19,26 N

This publication is supposed to be released 2x a year and consists of a retrospective of the results and impacts observed in the supported artists’ lives and works. The amount requested is related to the fourth part of 3000 USD budget that will be split in 6 parts to be requested in the future.
