We are inviting an established British graffiti artist to come to the studios in Lisbon to paint the outside wall of our compound.
The artist’s name is Kid Acne, first name Ed. Ed is a UK-based artist, illustrator, print-maker and hip-hop artist that’s been painting large scale murals for over 20 years including hosting his own graffiti festival in the north of England called feature walls, links below:

The wall he’s going to paint is a 35m long wall which faces onto a 5 + 2 lane highway which is the main road in/out of central Lisbon on the east coast. Our plan is to extend the visual identity of the studios onto the outward facing wall with a text based mural.

Ed (Kid Acne) is also a print maker and musician, he’s aware of the NFTs and crypto arts and as a part of the residency he will create NFTs of his prints and the graffiti piece on Mintbase platform through our own and the Graffiti DAO’s store.
Timeline
- August: Proposal submission & review
- September: plan of mural & residency with small team, activate press links
- October week 1: residency start, full design, materials acquisition
- October week 2: painting of mural, opening and NFT creation

Graffiti DAO October
We are requesting 1000$ (140 NEAR) tokens for
- Painting materials, time and expenses
- Time for onboarding onto the NEAR platform, creating a store in the graffiti DAO mechanism and minting the mural photo NFTs
