Overview

Freelancer DAO has swiftly developed a robust framework in line with the NDC initiative’s principles, emphasizing community-driven governance, fund control, and independence.

This structure is designed to promote active user participation within the NEAR Ecosystem by focusing on community outreach, education, and onboarding strategies. The proposal aims to foster awareness, educate individuals on NEAR’s infrastructure, and transform new-comers into engaged participants, ultimately contributing to the ecosystem’s growth and sustainability.

Purpose

The initiative’s objective is to empower the community in expanding the ecosystem’s outreach through a structured framework governing Freelancer DAO. All freelancers will operate within this framework to drive remarkable development and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) beneficial for both the DAO and the entire NEAR Ecosystem. By adhering to this structure, our aim is to foster substantial growth and measurable progress.

When the Engagers focus on onboarding the DAO aims to educate and expose to our community all the Ecosystem Apps and how they can find their bearing around it.

Freelancer DAO Application

The freelancer DAO is a community developed initiative, structured and managed by the community to create a governance system to guide freelancers with the aim to foster the growth and massive outreach including onboarding of new users from Web2.0& Web3.0 platform to NEAR.

This Initiative was established somewhere in Q2 and was led by the community and support from the Ecosystem and NDC.

Our telegram was created April 15th but I started the charter draft on the 6th of April.

Started public awareness by making an introduction post Which I got more support from core contributors after making an open post for Call to action for community support afterwards we were able to create polls on forum and on our telegram to get community feedback and opinions.

I’m Solomon, a community builder/ manager, growth & engagement strategist , technical analyst, web3 educator, NFT degen, content creator, social media marketer and influencer who is an excellent team player, capable of working-remotely. I have worked on several projects in several different roles. I find learning new things and scaling new challenges interesting and can perform responsibilities associated with any role confidently. And with my years of experience, I believe that I have the necessary skills to perform(work) at a very high level in several roles.

Experience

With 4years plus experience on Web3.0 and I’ve focused more on NEAR Ecosystem because Etherium has few was an issue to interact with most DApps due to PoW mechanics.

Near has been my home and I’ve involved in most community as An Admin, Moderator, Ambassador, Marketer and Project Manager with my vast knowledge for Crypto been able to work for top NeAR project like Meta Pool, Mintbase, NDC etc

I’m keen and open to learn more and also educate people about Web3.0 to onboard new users to enjoy a new decentralized system.

The goal of the Freelancer DAO is focused on Onboarding Web2.0 and Web 3.0 projects and individuals through collaboration and partnerships to make good utilization of Near Ecosystem DApps.

Promote Near Projects to be more pronounced and exposed to the broader audience through our engagers with several tasks.

Is to Retain users on Near to create opportunities to exploit and benefit from Ecosystem infrastructure.

Educating Newbies and Developers how to navigate and understand BOS and Near more by collaborating with founders to share insights on their projects and how it can be of value and benefit to the Communities.

Support Ecosystem projects by pushing important updates and news to support engagement and mass participation.

HOW WE ARE GOING TO ACHIEVE IT?

The Freelancer DAO has worked on different strategies and metrics to achieve our goal which would be listed as follows :

Onboarding Web3 & Web2 users: tons of methods to do this but in brief we are reaching out to founders and brand owners from both Web2 and 3 for collaboration and partnerships and the best method is to look for what mass loves to ensure mass adoption, we are planning on collaborating with football associations to get football lovers to make predictions on BOS we have manually did that but now we have plans to build a simple prediction platform.

We have our engagers in charge of promoting Near project using different strategies like, shilling near related post on popular influencers page, providing signals to encourage the community to engage in trading NEAR, core contributors (council) would provide weekly updates on Near Project that needs hyping and promoting which would be as a weekly focus we would collaborate with NearWeek and Near media to get latest news and insights and what to direct the engagers to promote.

With good awareness users can be able to get updates on ecosystem opportunities and get to engage on it, we would retain users by building a simple bet platform and also multisender wallet for substantial and easy way to distribute tokens with one click, also we would create bounties and opportunities for our community to engage onchain with the BOS.

With our active communities we can funnel news and opportunities to our community and broader ecosystem to increase participation and involvement in ecosystem project e.g maybe meta pool is having an article competition we would directly share the bounty to ecosystem and create engagement around it for more participation to increase volume.

We are going to improve content creation and use several means to market Near, through memes, graphic designing, comics, article etc with low cost.

We are aiming to solve the several issues in the ecosystem and also collab if necessary to make this happen in the best and suitable way and the basic problems we are aiming to solve are

Section 9 : DAO longevity

Does your project/DAO require one-time or continuous funding?

Our DAO requires continuous findings from the community treasury till we attain the goal of being sustainable and able to yield our own funds and partially dependent on CT

Our DAO would be able to sustain when the necessary infrastructure to do so is available and mass engagement .

What are the possible roadblocks to the success of your project/DAO?

Our draw back or roadblocks of the success of our DAO is not able to get a good developer to build and help create what we’ve planned to achieve, We’ll overcome our DAO’s hurdle by expanding our search for skilled developers, fostering partnerships with developer communities, and offering incentives to attract talent.

Establishing and nurturing an involved and vibrant community on the Socializer platform, To deal with this, we’ll do things like involving the community more, keeping communication open, and using what users tell us to make the platform better.

Many other platforms in the NEAR blockchain and decentralized app space exist, and new ones could emerge, making it a competitive field. To stay ahead, Socializer will keep inventing, staying updated on what’s happening in the industry, and quickly meeting what users want.

The basic concept and scopes the freelancer DAO has introduced is to Promote, Build and Market NEAR in the process of onboarding newly interested users to Educate and dilute them with the knowledge about NEAR and it’s Decentralized Applications.

NEAR Needs the community to grow, NEAR needs the community to be active users and make use of its Infrastructure and enjoy the benefits and opportunities of Ecosystem DApps.

Subsequently, non performing Engagers or underperformance would lead to a reduction in bounty according to the doc above.
Engagers would be selected base on FCFS and performance would be evaluated and bounty would be assessed accordingly as your target met on the F-DAO program, this is to ensure Engagers are paid accordingly I respect to hierarchy and work done.

Hello @zavodil our project doesn’t align with Dev hub as we are community driven initiatives to device and foster different means to promote NEAR, we are unique base on we provide open opportunities for the community and incentive them for promoting near and meeting broader audience and we have a tier system where community can choose task according to what you can deliver and we pay accordingly as target met
