We are the Near Brasil, brazilian Regional Community since February of 2022 and we are thrilled to present our proposal for one of the biggest conference in Brazil: https://blockchainfestival.io

This is a Proposal for networking, meeting people we already talk, new faces to onboard to Near and new partnerships.
We were in Peru at https://blockchaincon.la where we could meet people from Near and Aurora in person, talk about ideas and collabs in Latam.
Now, we are going to ETH Argentina to meet more people and good projects. We want to meet the Aurora, Near and Metapool team to strengthen ties and discuss new ideas. Also participate in some side events.

We are going to these two conferences on our own. Because we are breathing Web3.
So we feel comfortable to create this proposal to ask for support from Near to this great event in Brazil.

Goals

We believe in the power of partnerships and collaborations. We want to focus on meeting good people and then, after the event, plan activities to onboard new people and communities, instead of trying to convince people one by one to create a wallet in the event.
We are going to do that, but the focus here is going to be networking.
We know how to engage the community when they are onboard. Now we want to find new partners to bring more people to Near.

What will focus is to talk to people and in special with developers, comunities, projects and influencers to expand the awarness about BOS and possibilities showing examples of existing widgets.
In other hand we will spread about I-Am-Human and NDC to the public.

Deliverables

Number of Networking Contacts: Goal to meet and exchange contact information with more than 50 people
Number of Sessions Attended: Plan to attend 6 sessions
Number of Potential Partners Identified: Identify 20 potential partners for future projects
Pieces of Content: Create 2 videos, 5 posts and many stories
Number of Follow-ups: Schedule 40 follow-up meetings or calls after the event

  • We hope to connect with other web3 communities and strengthen relationships with existing contacts.
  • The goal is that after the event they can do a hackathon to create widgets: 1 new widget
  • Increase in the number of Near Social users and consequently the number of transactions through content related to the event and the organization of the event. Increased support for NDC and I-Am-Human elections > 20 users/accounts
  • Number of developers interested in creating widgets > 5 devs

Update: We are going to make a banner to pin to a location at the event.

Flight Tickets: 2 / $400
Banner/personalized t-shirts: 50

Hi @andersonbr – thanks for the proposal. As I’ve noted on proposals for this month, in August, MDAO must allocate funding with a focus NDC election and BOS. Currently:

  • We have $203K+ in funding requests coming from the community for August
  • We have ~$46K to deploy
  • We cannot fund everyone
  • The funding we allocate is limited and must directly and primarily align with ecosystem KPIs – which are NDC election and BOS content

Given the above, I am happy to support this project – please emphasize focus on BOS if you can. It aligns directly with current objectives, is proposed by reputable team and is a reasonable funding request based on work proposed. Moving this to approved.

Hello! Your application was approved by Marketing (Ecosystem) DAO at NDC. The approved proposal will be included in the following request to NDC Trust, and the trust should authorize it first and then transfer it to Marketing DAO treasure: the expected payment date is the last week of August.
