Meta Pool in Ukraine during August, 2025.
Here’s my recap for August! It was a month of milestones, DAO experiments, local-first blockchain energy, and unforgettable celebrations. The Meta Pool community — in Ukraine and globally — kept proving why decentralized growth matters.
1. X Long Post: The Rise of Local-First Blockchain Communities
I spotlighted one of Web3’s most underrated stories — grassroots adoption. From ICP hubs in Mexico, Kenya, and Brazil to Meta Pool’s role in validator onboarding, these communities are proving that real change starts locally.
2. X Long Post: DAO Rewards — $121K Fees, $79K Shared
Meta Pool distributed real value in August: $121,769 in fees collected, $79K shared with voters. Thanks to mpIP-15, users claimed rewards in both stNEAR and mpDAO — and I explained how this temporary system works, and why governance really matters.
3. X Long Post: 4 Years of Meta Pool — A Decentralized Journey
On August 21st, Meta Pool turned 4. I celebrated this milestone by highlighting how far they’ve come: from launching liquid staking to onboarding giants like Deutsche Telekom, funding builders, and investing in young talent.

I previewed the community-wide birthday festivities: referral rewards (Aug 4–Sept 8), the August 21 livestream, DAO Party Night on Aug 27, and a special Sweat Economy collab. Meta Pool knows how to celebrate with purpose.
5. Space on X: 4 Years of Decentralized Multi-Staking
I hosted a community Space to honor Meta Pool’s journey — reflecting on the growth of liquid staking, governance, and global validator networks.

August 16 was all about coffee, collabs, and Web3 networking across three cities. I shared highlights from each stop — from dev chats in Saigon, founder hangouts in Bangkok, to blockchain & AI talks in Mojokerto.
7. X Long Post: mpIP-18 — Extending the Buyback Engine
I broke down the proposal to keep buybacks running for 4 more months. My focus: why this strengthens $mpDAO, balances growth with stability, and signals long-term commitment in turbulent markets.

Ahead of the Aug 28 call, I previewed updates, community strategy talk, and of course — the Kahoot quiz with $200 in rewards. A reminder that Meta Pool governance blends transparency with fun.
