The weekly Friday update from the EVM Working Group:
This week, we hardforked TestNet and deployed our EVM implementation, named Aurora Engine, to TestNet and BetaNet both in a soft launch. We also published a CLI tool and a client library for interacting with the EVM, continued integrating the ETH Connector into the EVM, prepared Web3-compatible relayer infrastructure, and worked on updating EVM developer documentation.
Next week, we are planning to deploy more features to the EVM, make available relayers for TestNet and BetaNet providing Web3-compatible RPC endpoints, continue updating EVM developer documentation and examples, support the first partners who wish to use the EVM, and plan our Q2’21 roadmap.
