The Culinary DAO plans to make use of the Metaverse quite a lot.
Many of our bounties will end up being premiered in Nearhub. An example is the “Restaurant Feature” where videos from entries and submissions will be collated and premiered in Nearhub. We also plan to have a Metaverse Birthday Party for May (and every other month as the case may be).
But we will use Nearhub for more than bounties. We have designed several shows and documentaries that will be ‘aired’ everywhere including Nearhub. For instance, we have the “Food And Nutrition” Show where academic nutritionists and food scientists and medical doctors will be interviewed on matters that concern food and health. Episodes of this show will be streamed on Nearhub
We have several intiatives like this with which we plan to draw and engage people to the Metaverse. We think that it is best to have our own room, suited specifically to serve our purposes.
This is why we reached @jefedeoro and had a meeting with him one other person to discuss the modalities of having something built for Culinary DAO in Nearhub.
After hearing our plans and specifications, Jeff said it would cost about $2600 to have things built.
The exact breakdown of the cost of the technical materials for constructing what we want on Nearhub is beyond my ken, but I trust Jeff’s judgement on it.
