Build Buddies Space on X - Chats by Night: 1
This meetup was held at a new location – Aventus Coffee (50 Láng Hạ).
Although the space was new, it still retained the warm, open, and connected atmosphere that defines Build Buddies. The change in location brought a refreshing vibe, encouraged idea exchange, and offered a different perspective on how the Web3 community in Hanoi can adapt and grow more flexibly through each gathering.
State of the local blockchain scene:
Guests shared notable insights on the growth of Web3 in Vietnam, along with practical community initiatives. Some of the key topics discussed included:
– The rise of local Layer 2 projects and staking solutions
– Opportunities and challenges in launching dApps in the Vietnamese market
– The growing need to connect Vietnamese builders with international organizations and investment funds
Holiday vibes on May 1st:
The meetup took place during the holiday, giving it a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Attendees shared how they spent the break both resting and keeping an eye on the crypto market, while many took the chance to brainstorm new project ideas. The spirit of “resting but never stopping the creativity” was strongly felt throughout this meetup.
Meanwhile, the Vietnam team also made an appearance at StakingSummit and StakingRewards in Dubai 
– one of the world’s largest staking conferences.
The meta_pool booth drew attention, offering guests the chance to connect with Co-founders lucio_tato and ccossio and receive unique giveaways.
