I want to share our report for January 2024.

Activities

Telegram

We shared the latest news within the Near ecosystem in our news channel and our group and provided 24/7 support for our users. After 6 months without funding we tried to engage our users in our group again and today I can say that we have an active group again. Our users are discussing current Near topics (HOT, Chain Abstraction etc.) at a pretty high level. There are some users in the group that really understand these topics and help the new users.

KPIs:

Goal: 30 active members, reached: 35 active members

Twitter

On Twitter we shared the latest news within the Near ecosystem.

KPIs:

Goal: 5000 impressions, reached: 5333 impressions

Events

  • To onboard more people we planned a “Near Wallet Creation”-Event. The users had to create a new Near Wallet and a new Near Social Profile. It was very successful as we got 15+ new wallets with this event.

  • We also tried a “Near BOS Quiz’’ where we asked our users questions about Near BOS, what it is, its main features and how to starI. The idea was to get to know more about the knowledge of our users about Near BOS. I have to admit that some of the participants really did well. The feedback was also very positive, certainly we will do it again in February.

  • To increase the awareness and usage of Near Social we made a betting game about the Handball European Cup that was hosted in Germany.

  • We also rewarded our most active member in our Telegram group

  • Currently there is running a “HOT-Wallet-Mining”-Event to onboard users to the new Telegram Wallet integration.

Wallet creation and transactions

KPIs:

Goal: 25 new wallets, reached: 26 new wallets
Goal: 10 avg transactions for 15 new wallets (150 transactions total), reached: 357 transactions total

We worked very hard to reach these KPIs. We learned that events really help to get new wallets. The uses are more motivated to Sign Up for Near Social etc. if there is an event where they can take part.

Currently the HOT Wallet integration is pretty hyped in our partner communities on Telegram. Therefore we can expect more new wallets from the German-speaking area in the next few weeks.

Educational Articles

According to our proposal we created 2 educational devs articles.

  1. We created an article on how to create a Component on the Near BOS within the Near Sandbox. Therefore we created a Near German widget as an example https://near.org/near/widget/ComponentDetailsPage?src=near-deutsch.near/widget/neargerman

Summary

After 6 months without funding we reactivated the Near German community. We had to put a high effort to re-engage our users but we are more than happy with the results. We managed to reach all our set goals in this short time. The partnerships that we have built up over the last few years have helped us a lot to reach all our goals - especially the partnership with Krypto DACH. We are on a very good track and we will grow further in the next following weeks.

Next plans

  • AMA with Gate.io
  • Near BOS Quiz
  • Develop further the Near German widget and show our users how to build on the NEAR BOS
  • Promote HOT integration (currently very hyped in different German communities)
  • Make a partnership with a non-blockchain community to onboard new German people to Web3
  • Onboard more German people on-chain
  • Daily business (24/7 support, share the latest news and updates etc.)

Please elaborate more on:

  1. 2 events with 15 users/ event and 6 swags delivery
  2. Video report (if any)

  1. As our goal was to reactivate our community, Videos didn’t have a priority. Furthermore German Videos are pretty expensive.

  2. In the event section in the report above you can see that we had a Near Wallet creation Event. We had 18 participants and got +15 new wallets.
    And we had a Near Bos Quiz with 17 participants. This event also delivered us some new wallets.
    Then we had 2 smaller events with +10 participants. These events delivered us transactions.
    Due to the short funding and the high shipping costs in our area we didn’t send any swags but we hope to do it in February.

You have to consider that we only requested 2000$ and not 2500$ which is applicable for Tier D.
Therefore we put the focus on the KPIs that we found more important in our situation.
