Hello community!
Here is our June report.
This month we dedicated our work to the structural development of the dapp, and in this respect we have good news: we started building our own smart contract and therefore we won’t need mintbase anymore to mint NFTs, reducing gas costs.
This means that we are on our way to adding more knowledge to the ecosystem, since everything we produce for dapp will be open source.
In the UI work we started the first wireframes.
Since MKT Dao rejected our first proposal, Design developed Artivist’s brand book to have our identity more complete, so that it would better prepare us for the next proposal to mkt dao.
One very important point: We dedicated some time in developing the proposal for the Grant program, as advised by the Creatives DAO board. We know that the response is time consuming, so we intend to continue our work through the Creatives DAO collaboration until we receive the response.

- Final refactor landing page

- Deploy a new landing page
- Create a custom NFT contract and test to replace mintbase (saving a lot of potential cost with mintbase and giving flexibility on Artivist’s integration with NEAR)
- Create an initial smart contract factory for multiple NGOs
- Upgrade Wallet Selector to support more wallets
- Initial dashboard setup
- Creating initial backend routes (Users, NGOs) and CRUD with database integration and SmartContract
Design:
- Start of the UI platform design;
- Development of marketing proposal (1mo) + design for Creative Dao;
- Artivist Marketing Plan Roadmap (3mo) + design for Creative Dao:
- Development of a complete brand book (includes: brand concept; Artivist logo package, positioning; target audience; personas; logo guidelines and usage rules; photo language guidelines; iconography; visual guidelines for social media; stationery, merchandising);
- Artivist grant proposal design and format;
- Ledum tutoring and guidance of the Artivist brand book;
Learnings:
Our biggest learning this month has been in relation to marketing work. We had our proposal rejected at mkt DAO on the grounds that they do not fund the brand book and only the next steps of content and outreach. We decided to do the brand book and the marketing roadmap even without budget so that we can be prepared for a new proposal to MKT DAO.
Next Steps:
Our next steps will go towards structuring and systematizing our work routine and internal communication, besides developing the dapp wireframes and starting our UX research.
