Our initial objective will be to create Images, videos, and graphics highlighting CC0 use cases and benefits. This will highlight the fact that we are the only CC0 project on NEAR. CC0 rights ownership has become a revolutionary strategy in NFTs and we believe it completely encompasses the crypto and web3 ethos of an open source ecosystem. We believe CC0 empowers artists more than anyone else in the space. Our brand, image, and likeness, is free for any artist to integrate, build on, make a derivative of, or change.
The timeline for this objective is to have multiple pieces of content created by October 1st. We will hire a content creator with the funds to make images, graphics, videos, and educational material highlighting CC0 and the benefits for artists and the NEAR ecosystem. We will pay them based on content created at the best market price we can find for good quality. Steps include: 1. Finding an artist / content creator, we will either use a web2 platform to find the talent or a web3 NEAR native platform like BEExperience. 2. Agree on pricing for CC0 based content using RealBirds art ($2000 budget) 3. Post content as it’s created to highlight CC0 benefits for NEAR

RealBirds are the first NEAR native Omnichain NFT building on LayerZero Labs. We are a fun pfp style NFT on the outside themed around the conspiracy theory of birds being government surveillance drones. On the inside we are working directly with one of the most innovate projects in crypto called LayerZero Labs. We are advocating on behalf of NEAR with the support of NEAR Foundation through a grant, to establish a NEAR endpoint on LayerZero’s stack. This would open NEAR protocol up to the incredible world of adoption and liquidity that are only accessible to Omnichain integrated protocols. Our CC0 ownership model for the art is something that deserves to be highlighted in the NEAR space as no-one else is structured this way to our knowledge.
CreativesDAO supports artists-focused projects. Could you please outline the connection in your activities with art, music, craft, etc? How other artists on NEAR can benefit from your activities?

When applying to CreativesDAO, it is required to have:
an introduction/roadmap as a separate post (linked into a monthly funding proposal, if you apply for the first time),
separate topics for each project of your DAO (linked into a monthly funding proposal as a budget breakdown).
Our project is an art based profile picture theme. All of our 1000 birds on NEAR are 100% customized and hand drawn in a unique style unlike anything else on NEAR. Our IP model is CC0 meaning we encourage and support use of our brand and like-ness. I actually don’t know of another CC0 based project on NEAR. As a CC0 project we allow and incentivize others to re-create our art through derivatives, spin-offs, merch, etc. CC0 is an entire sub-category of NFTs that have received some major attention and we can focus more on that aspect to bring that attention to NEAR. A simple answer is other artists can benefit from our activities because they have free rights to use our branding and image for their own art, which we are quickly growing into one of the top NEAR projects.

Yes, correct. In addition, you should prepare single project proposals, where you describe your objectives as detailed as possible, after that, please link them to your main monthly proposal (examples have been provided in the guidelines above).
Okay thank you. I will edit this proposal down to a single objective and adjust the requested amount. I was considering the hiring of a Community Manager one objective and listing what they could accomplish as part of their tracking, is this not a good model for the first objective?
CreativesDAO supports projects and communities associated with music, film, arts, craft, etc. Concentrating only on hiring a CM won’t be among the robust points in your proposal.
RealBirds already received a grant from Near Foundation for their project. I can see this proposal request for content creation, is this part of project development work?
This doesn’t fall under Creatives umbrella, since the proposed projects don’t focus on building community & onboarding new users to NEAR through creative activities. (In the direct way)
Approach:
Individuals & teams are encourage to reach corresponding specialist Guild (ex. music projects would go to NxM, metaverse to Metaverse DAO, artists to regional arts DAOs) to request project funding instead of through the Creatives DAO directly
Project looking for grant or funding to cover tasks done on milestone should apply directly via Get Funding – NEAR Protocol
Understood, just to clarify content creation was not part of our NEAR Foundation grant milestones at all and content creation to me seemed like a good fit for Creative DAO
