Objective: The main objective of this project is to build a NEAR Metaverse Historical Mintbase Store for all the activities from NEAR on Metaverse; videos from shows, exhibitions, workshops from NEAR on metaverse would all be recorded into the blockchain.

Justification (benefits): The relevance of this project is to record pieces of NEAR history on metaverse as NFTs. This is important because it would register forever some important moments, that could be used as study material in the future. At least 1 copy from each NFT would be NOT FOR SALE. Besides, the store is a stimulus for more people to start recording these moments and minting into the store. If the minting is made properly, with all the relevant information, we really could use this material. So minting must be carefully done, what justify for the DAO to pay for such service.

Project: In order to fulfill our objective, we would need 6,5 Near to open the store and 500 usd in near divided among the members of the DAO to properly mint the videos and screenshots together with the relative text, that could identify that moment for future researchers. This stimulus is important because this minting is not an easy task and sometimes it demands research, because complete information would require: the day, the location, the link, the producer, the DAO, the artists, the name of the event.

Timeline

December 5th:

Open the store.

Start going to events and recording them.

December 10th:

Start minting the events in the store together with the relative information.

December 10 - 30th:

Keep minting NFTs from different events (at least 3 events).

Budget

500 usd in near: For DAO members to mint historical NFTs at the historical store.
250 usd in near: To go to near metaverse events and take pictures and videos.
6,5 near: To open the store.

TOTAL: 750 USD in NEAR + 6,5 NEAR

Near Metaverse Historical Mintbase Store

Project Status: Completed

Project Accounting: The store is opened and there are 30 NFTs there from 9 different events, plus a Proof of Attendance for artists and 3 interviews](nearmetaversehistory.mintbase1.near - Mintbase Store). We spent 750 USD in NEAR + 6,5 NEAR, as foreseen + Astro

500 usd in near: For DAO members to mint historical NFTs at the historical store.

Updated Project Timeline:
We finished on time, December 27th, because we had more NFTs and events than our milestone of 3 events. Nevertheless, we will keep recording and minting the events.

Highlights:
As I said, we were able to mint 30 NFTs at the store from 9 events, what is much more than our intention of 3 events. We also developed proof of attendance for artist as a minted flyer with a certain description. And we minted interviews and events, beyond the proof of attendance. Decentricity is also going to mint an event from the 2D metaverse from near called Reality Chain.

Learnings:
We could learn that it is possible to ask as a pre-requisite to rent our building that the event be recorded and minted on our store. This could make easy our historian work.

Next Steps:
Next step is to create ways of helping the DAO’s council members with metaverse presence to mint on our store. We also have to develop a better way to know all the events that are going to happen.
