metaKnyts is an award winning cross-media saga at the intersection of AI, Web3 and the metaverse. It is a multifaceted sci-fi storyVerse that seamlessly integrates comics, gaming, animation, and film with blockchain, AI, and volumetric computing. metaKnyts is the world’s first CryptoComic originally minted on chain back in 2019 and has since evolved into a dynamic and immersive platform, offering a ‘phygitally native’ experience that blurs the lines between physical and digital realms. The franchise follows the thrilling journey of Kn0w1 and his fellow metaKnyts as they battle the FANGs and their AI across the physical and digital realms of Terra and Digiterra.
metaKnyts has a community of close to 4,000 investors from its record-breaking Reg CF campaign. It has a well developed lore, story-world and portfolio of products developed across its thirteen-part first season including collectible comics, animations, characters, AI agents. It also is poised to release a video game (alpha) with gaming and metaVerse assets. With a focus on AI, collectibles, digital storytelling and play, metaKnyts offers a unique immersive experience and onboarding ramp to web3 for fans, collectors and investors alike.

Short Summary of Your and Team’s Professional Experience
Our team has been working on Web3 projects for a number of years. Our founder led Digital innovation in Automotive, Aerospace and Defence for IBM for several years where he oversaw several projects and published papers on blockchain. He has also been at the forefront of using blockchain for identity and data sovereignty and has developed a comprehensive protocol for decentralized information, identity and intelligence management. He has amassed a world class team of creative and technical professionals to develop the metaKnyts project as a pioneering crypto edutainment franchise. metaKnyts won the first place CES Village Francophone award for Blockchain Innovation and second place award for Education Innovation in 2021.

metaKnyts will make a collection of its assets available as NFTs on Aurora to build a community of Near KNYTS that can bridge the metaKnyts ecosystem and storyVerse with the Near community, ecosystem and technology stack. Near KNYT Aurora NFTs will enable a wide variety of activities in the metaKnyts ecosystem including acquisition of metaKnyts collectible comics, anime, characters and access to metaKnyts’ CryptoMedia wallet. They will also provide token gated access to metaKnyts’ DigiTerra video game, its Order of Metaiye membership club, its Metaiye AI agent and other benefits.

Privacy, data and AI sovereignty, education and crypto literacy. metaKnyts was developed to educate and build awareness in young communities on the importance of decentralized technology and the role it can play in enabling digital sovereignty, protection and freedom.

How can your DAO / Project achieve NDC priorities, goals, and KPIs?
Our mission is to inspire people to explore web3 through storytelling, teach them how to use web3 tools through play and master web3 by building. Integrating Aurora NFTs into the metaKnyts ecosystem as proposed by this project will enable us to bring Near technologies to the metaKnyts community and franchise and vice versa. Aurora versions of our collectible comics, characters and other items will be used to create a community of Near KNYTS (I.e. Near branded members of themetaKnyts Order of Metaiye community). Aurora NFTs will be used to onboard many new users into the metaKnyts franchise through multiple campaigns and marketing activities we will launch in tandem with Aurora KNYT Drops. Furthermore Aurora NFTs will enable Aurora to be integrated into the Layerles (LayerZero based) interchain protocol upon which the metaKnyts franchise is being built, which will drive significant traffic and transaction volume to the Aurora/Near ecosystem.
