[Proposal] Marketing for NEAR India Guild

Greetings Team,

Hope you all are doing great as always! We are the team managing NEAR India’s social media presence spreading word about the project, educating audience about all the updates happening in the ecosystem, and are proud to work with the project soo closely. The growth which my team expects for the Near Indian community are mentioned along with past performances. Before proceeding any further I would like to mention some platform performances are affected due to the Indian audience’s tension regarding the ongoing discussion around strict crypto regularisation by the government.

This month we have focused specifically on the growth of our official Indian telegram community as well, and results have been impressive when we started out there were 440 members and as you can see our strategies have generated visible results and now the current members of the community stand at 552. Showing a growth of 20%.

NEXT MONTH PLAN :

For the next month, we would like to focus on the growth of the same social channels and help the community grow amidst the tough period for Indian crypto.

We are expecting an engagement rate of 6.5-7% and reach a following of 830 people.

For Instagram, we hope to grow the channel to 600 followers.

For the telegram community, we are expecting it to grow beyond 600 active members.

Apart from social media marketing other tasks which my team would be conducting are:

  • Market Study (to understand the ongoing trends in the markets as to keep the content fresh and up to date)
  • Managing all content interactions (To interact with the audience and grow the engagements organically)
  • Content management (Manage all the content coming in from other content creators in the community, get needful changes, and strategize accordingly)
  • Chat support, regular retweeting, timely posting, content distribution, and spot all content requests from the community will be properly catered.

My team would also be working around planning and strategizing how to get in touch with other NEAR pages, create an image for NEAR India in the ecosystem.

The estimated timeline to achieve these goals is 1 month.

I am working on making short videos that we use to post on Twitter which will summarise different partnerships of the NEAR ecosystem and other guild blogs by which new people come to our social media will get to know what exactly NEAR is doing and how to get kick-started and join NEAR India Telegram chat. FOR NEXT MONTH

I will be working on short videos for Twitter and Instagram and translations.

  • I will prepare 15 short videos which will summarise the recent partnerships of the NEAR ecosystem and NEAR guild.

  • I will work on translations of the blog post and other ecosystem posts and articles through which new users will get to know what is currently happening in the NEAR ecosystem.

Thanks, Aakash. I’d love to learn more about how this social media strategy aligns with that of the community- @jiten123321. Ideally, social and community should work together on common goals with social being the top of funnel and community creating engagement.

How do we define active members? Given that we have over 555 members, I’d like us to have a strategy before driving any more members to the telegram community.

The activity level is very less on the main telegram community group right now.

Where is this happening? Specifically around sourcing community content request. Is there a way in which this is being done right now? How are you sourcing content from the community?

A lot of the tweets seem to have “.” before them. “.” are generally used when you’re @ mentioning someone and want the tweet to still show up on the timeline.

I’m sure we can do better than this. It’s not even a contest where you’re inviting others to post their most creative wallpapers. Ideally, I’d start spending time working on campaigns with projects in India. The NEAR India accelerator would be a good start. Maybe plan a series around that. Engage with people and host Twitter Spaces- the more you use the latest features, the more visibility your profile gets.

How big is this team?

What is the rationale behind doing short videos? Have analytics showed us that we get significantly more engagement or new followers from these videos on Twitter?

I’d also like to understand about translations too. Have the articles in the translated languages shown better performance when compared to the original in English? Or atleast on comparable levels? Do people engage with the translated content? What is the total read time of the translated content? What is the purpose of translations if no one engages with them or if there isn’t a plan around how to best place the translated content.

Yes, As Aakash shared the Twitter analysis above, It shows that we are getting more engagement and more people reacting to the tweets. Also if you can see the analysis shared by me in the excel sheet, You will get to know that we are getting more impressions on the videos.

On translation, People are viewing the contents. Not on day 1, we got that vie but as we go we can see more views in the contents. Recently one member from NEAR India TG connected me and want to know how we are posting the translations and where it goes. So from this, I can understand that as NEAR India community will grow, We will get more views on the content.

Thank you shreyas, for your valuable opinion. The current agenda of the social media strategy is to keep the followers and the social community up to date with what’s happening in the ecosystem, as the Indian guild hasn’t been active from some time leaving us with no clear goal of what to aim for so we have been focusing on generally engaging on social platforms and staying in the loop.

We do have some ideas which I would be pitching when we have a call regarding the ambassador program and members getting driven to the community is a by-product of our social media activity to some extent which would be happening organically as people like the content and feel a need to be a part of the community.

Chat support is available on twitter and instagram as and when someone needs. By saying community I am referring to the Indian guild team and the spot on content request from the community refer to the request of any kind of content which the guild members need for any specific event which is happening in their niche for example, for near education if any guild member needs any graphic it would be catered as per their demands. All the content is in-house as of now, but we plan to launch some kind of contest for the community.

For the past month, we have been focusing on the organic growth of the channels and not much on the engagement because in the second last call I was updated that an ambassador program was being planned for the community so my focus was on gathering the audience for the program as I am pretty sure the program would set the engagement right on track. I do have ideas and a few projects which could be assigned in the program which I would be happy to pitch in but for the past month or so the guild hasn’t been active with no update on the upcoming ambassador program so my team is focusing on growing the audience for time being.

There were 3 initially but now we are a team of 2.

I do agree on the translation part, a database on the same would be helpful.

Chaliye baat karte hai bankings systems ki ya kisi anya kshetra ki jaha par ek aam nagarik jata hai aur unhe aaj bhi suvidhaye ek khestriya bhasha me jarur milti hai.
Ab yah nirbhar karta hai ki hum kin logo tak Near ya chaliye blockchain ko le jana chah rahe hai. Agar yah sirf kuch chand pratishat tak hi hai to phir aap ka sujhaav sahi hai.

And views are coming slowly as the days passes by but not from the very first day and surely they dont stand comparable to the english posts which have tremendous outreach. But yes if we can strike the right chord we can surpass anyone ( An unreleated example: T series vs Pewdepie on YT :slight_smile: )

I’m sorry guys, going to reject the proposal

1.TG channel have many bots and deleted accounts,

2.Need to work with picture quality on Instagram Account,

3.Couldn’t find any active discussion in your group, active users participation (for instance this group has never been funded from NF Telegram: Contact @near_prices )

4.Admins in your group involved in other paid activities in Near Ecosystem. Probably, some part of their salary they can spend to support Near India Community.

Thank you @Dacha for your valuable response, I would like to shed some light that we have been working on the social media channels Twitter, Instagram until now and very recently started focusing on Telegram so we do agree we have a scope of improvement when it comes to the telegram which we surely will be doing, but the team’s major focus is on creating content for social media content, and they have put a lot of effort in maintaining the channels. So I would humbly request you to give the proposal another shot from this perspective.:slightly_smiling_face:
