Impact

This art contest aims to encapsulate and magnify the discussions, discoveries, and individual artistic journeys commenced during the workshops. We envision this as an enriching continuation of our mission to understand, engage with, and portray feminine symbolism in art.

By involving women artists in this specialised thematic exploration, we aim to contribute to the broader dialogue around women’s roles, identities, and representations in both art and society at large.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Because of such a low submission of 2 pieces, we have decided to postpone the art contest and gallery show until the new year. The date and time is to be determined, but I will announce it here and also on our Telegram group. Sorry about this, we are trying our best!

Symbols of She: Symbols of Wisdom with Alissa Christine

Title: 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗮

Kamala also commonly known as 𝘓𝘰𝘵𝘶𝘴 or 𝘓𝘰𝘵𝘶𝘴 𝘍𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳.

𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗮 is like a journey for me, a journey of self-exploration and self-discovery. As I dive into the intricate patterns and bright colors, the Kamala Mandala is like a mirror that reflects the complexities of my life.
The 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗮, a central motif, resonates with my journey: rooted in life’s challenges, yet aspiring towards purity and enlightenment. Each petal whispers stories of resilience, reflecting my own triumphs in the face of adversity.

At the center, the 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗵𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗶 (𝚆𝚑𝚒𝚝𝚎 𝙿𝚎𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚜) 𝘗𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭/𝘚𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴. It becomes a deep mirror that inspires me to cultivate an open awareness and see life from a broader perspective, fostering freedom from attachment.
𝗣𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗶 (𝚁𝚎𝚍 𝙿𝚎𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚜) 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨. As I explore the symbolism of Padma Dakini for myself, it encourages me to transform passion into compassionate understanding, fostering a refined and heartfelt connection with others. In my own life, the Padma Dakini’s wisdom makes me explore my feelings and desires more deeply.
𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗻𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗶 (𝚈𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚘𝚠 𝙿𝚎𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚜) 𝘐𝘯𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨/𝘌𝘯𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨. As I exploring the symbolism of Ratna Dakini for myself, it teaches me to embrace equanimity and discernment, finding the golden balance within life’s varied experiences.
𝗩𝗮𝗷𝗿𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗶 (𝙱𝚕𝚞𝚎 𝙿𝚎𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚜) 𝘚𝘶𝘣𝘫𝘶𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨/ 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦. As I exploring the symbolism of Ratna Dakini for myself, it inspires me to discover the unchanging wisdom within the ever-changing nature of my own existence.
𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗶 (𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚗 𝙿𝚎𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚜) 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦. As I exploring the symbolism of Karma Dakini for myself, it guides me to navigate life’s challenges with skillful means, transforming actions into opportunities for positive change.

The 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗮 reflects the recede and flows of my life, reminding me that life’s beauty lies in the balance of extremes.
