Dear Community,
The Philosophers DAO is delighted to launch this Philosophical Scholarship Open Call.
The objective of this project is to support researchers at the undergraduate level (in research, teaching or extension) and for July we have a scholarship for two months of 400USD (200USD per month) in NEAR or DAI (whichever is more advantageous for the DAO) . The selection process is quite simple and the steps are as follows:

The candidate must prove through a letter from the advisor that he is engaged in a research/teaching or extension project (this letter must include the name of the project, the name of the educational institution, the name of the advisor and if the candidate student has a research grant from some other institution).

The candidate needs to send us a short video of 05 to 10 minutes (which can be a Drive or a Youtube Link) in Portuguese, presenting the following points:
2.1 A brief presentation of your journey as a researcher and what led you to the research.
2.2 Present the research project/problem and the research objectives.
2.3 Explain and justify the social relevance of your research. -
The selection criteria will be as follows:
3.1 Comprehension and Content: Does the video provide understanding of the answers to the posed questions, following a logical sequence, in language appropriate for a non-expert audience?
3.2 Creativity: does the proponent make use of creativity, either through the oral presentation or through the visual attractiveness of the video, with the aim of attracting the viewer’s attention?
3.3 Engagement and Communication: Does the video make the viewer want to know more about the topic? Does the candidate show enthusiasm in their research in the presentation?
Selection process:
The best videos will be chosen by the DAO members (based on the criteria set out above) and they will be presented to The Philosophers DAO Community (on Telegram) who will effectively decide the winner. After voting, the winner will be notified and we will pass on all pertinent information on the monthly reports.
Final product:
The winner must create a post for The Philosophers DAO Blog (between 500 and 600 words) with the following structure:
*100 words for the introduction;
*300 words for development;
*100/200 words for conclusion.
Deadline for submissions: July 27, 2022.

The Philosophers DAO está muito feliz em lançar esta Open Call de Bolsa Filosófica.
O objetivo deste projeto é apoiar pesquisadores em nível de graduação (em pesquisa, ensino ou extensão) e para Julho temos uma bolsa por dois meses de 400USD (200 USD por mês) em NEAR ou DAI (o que for mais vantajoso para a DAO). O processo seletivo é bastante simples e as etapas são as seguintes:

O candidato precisa comprovar por meio de uma carta do orientador de que está engajado em um projeto de pesquisa/ensino ou extensão (nesta carta deve constar o nome do projeto, o nome da instituição de ensino, o nome do orientador e se o aluno candidato possui bolsa de pesquisa de alguma outra instituição).

O candidato precisa nos enviar um vídeo curto de 05 a 10 minutos (podendo ser um Drive ou um Link do Youtube) em língua Portuguesa apresentando os seguintes pontos:
2.1 Uma breve apresentação de sua jornada como pesquisador e o que o levou à pesquisa.
2.2 Apresentar o projeto/problema de pesquisa e os objetivos da pesquisa.
2.3 Explicar e justificar a relevância social de sua pesquisa. -
Os critérios de seleção serão os seguintes:
3.1 Compreensão e Conteúdo: o vídeo fornece a compreensão das respostas às questões propostas, seguindo uma sequência lógica, em uma linguagem apropriada para uma audiência de não-especialistas?
3.2 Criatividade: o proponente faz uso de criatividade, seja através da apresentação oral ou através da atratividade visual do vídeo, com o objetivo de atrair a atenção do expectador?
3.3 Engajamento e Comunicação: o vídeo faz com que o expectador queira saber mais sobre o tópico? O candidato passa entusiasmo em sua pesquisa na apresentação?
Processo de Seleção:
Os melhores vídeos serão escolhidos pelos membros da DAO (com base nos critérios estabelecidos acima) e eles serão apresentados para a Comunidade da The Philosophers DAO (no Telegram) que será efetivamente quem decidirá o vencedor. Após a votação, o vencedor será notificado e passaremos todas as informações pertinentes sobre os relatórios mensais.
Produto Final:
O vencedor deverá criar uma postagem para o Blog da The Philosophers DAO (entre 500 e 600 palavras) com a seguinte estrutura:
*100 palavras para a introdução;
*300 palavras para o desenvolvimento;
*100/200 palavras para a conclusão.
Data final para submissões: 27 de Julho de 2022.
