To build a DAO representing/governing a series of Metaverses, these MetaCities will have unique token metrics, and reward systems.
this would be a 6-9 month project at least, working with java developers, 3d modelers, developer operations, a dedicated project manager and multiple junior dev’s

Currently we still have Nearverse.org live, it was the official metaverse of Near Con alpha, where we custom created all of the 3d objects for the Near Ecosystem companies just from their 2d logos on their websites (also submitted a bunch to Fbook developer program to be included in filters that are now being used in subsequent hackathons!!) we also live streamed all the talks and events from NearCon alpha thru the metaverse and had hundreds of attendees throughout the convention visiting and discussing the new exciting technologies presented by the leaders at Near.
this deployment of open source metaverse (hubs) was very useful for the convention, however we would love to see more game style interaction so our dev teams are reviewing some Gaming native alternatives that are much more similar to minecraft (most popular game in the world)
this project would have a token listing with a presale and defi qualities done thru metapool, ref finance, oct.networks and have lands that will deploy an Explore to earn Contract where users can get paid to explore the metaverse and share the crypto with those that own the metacities lands
it will use different voxel based (minecraft style) open source technology
and our biggest opportunity is Veloren!! we are excited about this dev enviroment

we believe that with a well thought out defi strategy, a fun metaverse experience, an explore to earn contract and the robust blockchain of Near protocol, the metacity project at Nearverse.org could be one of the more popular metaverses out there
we also have a lot of interest from the head of Metaverse investment (Andrew) from Republic https://republic.co/ to purchase meta land on a consistent basis, as their past metaverse investments have grown exponentially
