F. History of Interactions with NEAR Protocol:

I started interacting with NEAR in April 2020 when I joined Meta Pool as a Project Manager. Since then, I have been actively involved in the ecosystem, driving key initiatives for its growth.

Some of the main activities I have participated in include:

Token Listings: We managed the integration of Meta Pool tokens on various platforms, such as CoinGecko.

Participation in NEAR forums: We contribute to the development of improvement proposals through the MPIP (Meta Pool Improvement Proposal on dev.near) system, fostering discussions and key decisions for the community.

Validator Program: We developed this program in collaboration with the NEAR Foundation to facilitate the onboarding of new validators and encourage more participants to join the ecosystem.

Grant Rounds: We organize funding rounds to support the development of new initiatives presented by various teams within the ecosystem.

G. History of Governance Participation (in NEAR or other ecosystems):

As a Meta Pool Governance Advocate, I played a key role in shaping the governance framework, ensuring a decentralized and community-driven decision-making process.

  • Contributed to the design and implementation of Meta Pool’s governance system, which now engages over 500 active voters each month.
  • Actively organized and participated in governance discussions, fostering transparency and community engagement in Meta Pool’s voting process.
  • Supported various NEAR ecosystem projects by facilitating funding opportunities through mpDAO Grants, empowering builders and initiatives that drive innovation within the network.

Through these efforts, I have helped strengthen governance participation, enhance decision-making structures, and promote sustainable ecosystem growth.

H. Top 3 Priorities for the NEAR Ecosystem:

To ensure sustainable growth and adoption, the NEAR ecosystem must focus on three key priorities:

Attracting Users – Expanding the user base is essential for the long-term success of NEAR. This involves improving user experience, simplifying onboarding processes, and fostering community engagement to drive real adoption. Additionally, allowing users to stake NEAR directly with validators requires us to review the incentives for veNEAR holders, ensuring long-term alignment between stakers and the network’s security.

Supporting Builders – Developers are the backbone of any blockchain ecosystem. Providing grants, technical resources, and mentorship programs will empower builders to create innovative applications and expand the utility of the network.

Developing Frontier Markets – Strengthening NEAR’s presence in emerging markets is crucial for global adoption. This includes supporting localized projects, forming strategic partnerships, and addressing region-specific challenges to unlock new opportunities.

By focusing on these priorities, we can drive meaningful adoption and establish NEAR as a leading blockchain ecosystem.

I. Reasoning for any past votes in the NEAR Ecosystem:

AFAIK, Not relevant voting made by me on the NEAR Ecosystem.

J. Conflicts of Interest:

I will abstain from voting in any situation involving a potential conflict of interest. Ensuring transparency and fairness in governance is essential for the integrity of the NEAR ecosystem.

The stNEAR token will be used for voting, allowing holders to actively participate in governance decisions.

It will be possible to lock stNEAR and then obtain veNEAR, enabling long-term alignment with the ecosystem’s development.

If a vote presents a conflict of interest, participants have the option to abstain from voting to maintain neutrality and avoid undue influence.

By upholding these principles, we reinforce the credibility of the decision-making process and ensure the ecosystem remains decentralized and community-driven.

K. Answer Hypothetical Delegate Scenario:

Prompt: The NEAR ecosystem is evaluating opportunities to stimulate onchain activity. In this hypothetical scenario, there are three different proposals for the Foundation to consider:

A proposal to allocate incentives to DeFi protocol users to benefit protocol metrics.

A proposal to establish a subcommittee to market the NEAR Protocol to developers and users.

A proposal to establish a Protocol-Owned Liquidity position by the House of Stake on major DeFi protocols in the ecosystem.

What additional information would you need from the proposers to make an informed decision?

What key metrics would you evaluate to support or reject the proposals?

How would you ultimately support and vote for these different proposals?
