Hello! We are excited to make this post as a small introduction to the new council members of the Graffiti DAO as well as announcing somewhat of a relaunch of this DAO.
The new members are myself @mwhyden and @ted.iv . We are very excited to have the opportunity to work with this DAO and take it to new exciting places!
A small background on us:
@ted.iv :
Visual artist and musician. Originally from Cork and residing in Lisbon for the past 5 years. @ted.iv has a long history of organising graffiti events, public artist events as well as contributing artistically to them. He is also the Co-founder and Sound technician for Garden Collective: -https://agardencollective.org/
@mwhyden :
Sound and Visual Artist @mwhyden is also originally from Cork, Ireland and has recently relocated to Lisbon. He has experience hosting multidisciplinary artistic events and has a long history of collaborating with visual artists within his own work. Aims and objectives:
- Connect with the local Lisbon graffiti initiatives for potential projects and onboarding.
- Create Graf DAO category gov forum.
- Establish at least one monthly open competition/bounty for artists to participate in.
- Build on the existing community and seek out key figures in other cities around the world who would be interested in getting involved in the NEAR.
