Hiring a Head of Governance

Another quick update: our final three candidates (in no particular order) are Paulo, Eugene, and Angela. Each has posted a forum thread sharing more about themselves, their background and policy stance, and their qualifications for the role:

Hello, Here is the set of questions that we’re asking all of the final Head of Governance candidates to respond to. I’ve asked them to submit their answers to me initially, so that they don’t bias one another’s answers. Once I’ve received all of the answers, I’ll post them all together here. We intend to hold an open AMA call with all of the candidates later this week (@fiatisabubble can provide details) to give the community the opportunity to meet the candidates, hear from them, ask them questions, etc.

Finally, a hiring committee at NEAR Foundation will review all of this information and make a final decision next week. There may be a few days of final discussion and negotiation with the candidates before the new Head of Governance is announced, but with luck I hope to be able to make this announcement by the end of next week.
