Project Title: NFTS and VR making Virtual fitting room come to life.

Purpose: To bridge the gap between online shopping and shopping in-store using VR and introducing Near to the world of fashion.

Project Summary

The world is moving towards digital spaces and e-commerce and m-commerce are booming in the fashion industry, we would like to create an NFT marketplace for designers, where they can showcase their designs through NFT’s. It can be anything in fashion, starting from beauty, makeup to clothes, shoes, bags, etc. This marketplace will allow interested buyers to own the desired design as an NFT and using VR they can virtually try on the designs from anywhere. The virtual try-on will help in building trust between the customers and designers since they can virtually try and see how the product looks on them.
Since these NFTs will be one of a kind, it will also create interest amongst the customers to own something exclusive.
The tokens that will be used to own the NFT will be NEAR and the wallet too. This will not only create NEAR awareness amongst buyers but also the designers who are displaying their designs in the marketplace.

Goals

To create a marketplace for designers to sell their products through NFTs.

Incorporate VR technology to create a virtual fitting room for the owners of the NFTs.

Bridge the gap between in-store and online shopping.

Provide contactless and exclusive shopping experience especially during the pandemic.

Create awareness about NEAR and promote NEAR tokens and wallets for the marketplace.

Target Market

Designer/ brands in the fashion sector who are interested in displaying their work and selling in the marketplace with potential selling purpose.

Idea Execution requirement

Website design for the marketplace.
Onboarding of brands and designers to this NFT platform.

Creation of NEAR accounts for all the onboarding brands.

Onboarding of VR technician who can facilitate the Virtual fitting room process.

Smooth transactions between the buyers and sellers in the marketplace platform.

Have you considered metaverse fashion? It may be easier to execute on that as a first step. Once you can represent fashion in VR and have people buying digital wearables it will be easy to convince brands to release virtual versions of their fashions to your audience. Step 3 would be the hard part of being able to order actual physical items based on VR / NFT wearables.
