Problem Statement:

Fashion is a very big industry and building a long term sustainable fashion business can be challenging in today’s digital world, especially for brands in developing countries.

The solution:

Givanon is a Decentralized E-commerce project that offers a unique advantage with its cool web3-based and user-friendly e-commerce interface. Eliminating the need for a complex onboarding process

How does the platform work? In a nutshell

  1. Brands can join by signing up, creating and connecting their wallets with a provided template. Then, they can upload their products and set prices for each category.

  2. When a buyer places an order for a physical product a shipping arrangement is entered, and the order is tracked till it is delivered within the stipulated time frame. The buyer can also make purchases online using their $Near wallet .

How does the platform look? In a nutshell

  • Homepage is an overview of the e-commerce project

  • The buyer can create an account where they can connect their wallet and make a purchase.

  • The seller will have an account profile page where they can upload their products and keep track of pending new orders, and sales. Etc

What makes us unique

While there are successful e-commerce platforms and marketplaces, many lack features specifically designed for web3 needs. This creates challenges for:

  • Brands: These platforms often don’t allow them to earn in cryptocurrencies. limiting their earning potential and reach.

  • Buyers: They miss the opportunity to support brands and participate in the web3 ecosystem.

This is where Givanon comes in. We offer a cool, swaggy and unique web3 e-commerce experience

These brand partners will be instrumental in providing valuable feedback throughout the testing process, ensuring we gather insights from experienced market participants.

To achieve a well-rounded assessment, we will recruit testers from a diverse geographic range, not limited to Lagos, Nigeria (the product’s origin). This approach will enable us to gather a broader perspective and ensure the product resonates with a wider audience

Key Metrics:

  • Active users: 20+ registered brands using the platform in the first 2 months after beta-launch
  • Transactions:Total number of product purchases
  • Gross merchandise value (GMV):Total value of products sold
  • User engagement: Frequency of platform usage, social media interactions, and community participation.

New Metrics for NDC:

  • Account retention: We believe that we will have both returning customers and brands actively using the platform . Metrics should be calculated once the product is launched, but we are aiming to have 20+ active brands on the platform in the first 2 months after beta launch.

  • Account acquisition: We are aiming to have 20+ new active wallet created in the 2 months after beta- launch

  • Social engagement score: We will use the study cases to create a community of customers and brand owners on our social media platforms. Producing a good number of impressions and engagements.

I fully support this project  Fashion is going to be huge in 2024 in the blockchain, and Rhoda has a very interesting project with the right research behind. Africa is also becoming a very strong force in fashion, so it’s great that this project is out. This is just the beginning of a very sucessful path, I dare to anticipate :brown_heart:

Hey there, @Giva_non. I have a few more questions for your proposal

  1. I think it would be helpful to see how the $800 will be distributed amongst the team — also is this enough?

In Other words, how is the team compensated with any funds to show where you prioritize the work?

  1. I still think your market info is not detailed enough yet. The fashion industry is a billion-dollar market, and huge fashion brands have their very own blockchain called Aura

https://auraconsortium.com/

So, are you going after independent fashion brands? If so, who? In What locations so you can land those 20 users?

  1. Finally, I would go into more detail about what the funds you need will do to make the best app/platform and what your devs need to succeed.

This will help us understand if your goals are reasonable and will also help all the devs here give you the feedback you need.

I’m sorry to be a pain, but I want to ensure you have the best proposal possible!

I honestly appreciate these questions 🫶🏼

  1. I believe building this project will definitely require a lot of funding but this is just a month’s budget, our major focus is to settle on the designs and then launch a beta version of the product for testing. The team understands the project is a continuous one and not a one off job. The $800 I requested for is definitely not going to be enough for the entire project but it’s enough to at least get us going for a month.

  2. As far as the project is concerned we have great vision for it but this proposal is just to get us started as we are still at the design stage. We need to settle on the design for each screen and launch a beta version to ensure we have a product to keep remodeling. Yes we are going after independent fashion brands and like I mentioned on the proposal we are going to be working with established brands not only in Lagos, Nigeria(I already have few brands I am currently talking to), Not only brands in Nigeria but any other brand willing to test the product after beta launch so we can have a wholistic approach to what stays and what to eliminate from the platform.

We are looking at signing up 20 brands for the first two months after beta launch and we have a sales team already willing to go to these brands and sign them up. We are looking at incentivizing by funding the wallet of the first 20 brands willing to signup and test the product

  1. like I mentioned the $800 is not enough but would just keep us afloat for a month to enable us launch the platform, we are asking for what we think we can start with at least to manage our expectations, I believe sheisnear is going to assist the project to a point where we start making our own revenue(which is not far fetched).
