With 8 years of experience in the Automation of Banking, Insurance, and Healthcare backend operations, I lead Nearvese Labs (RocketBois NFTs). Our team has developed multiple innovations for Near since March 2022. Responsible for delivering multiple products in the Near NFT ecosystem that served 5000+ unique wallets, and 30+ NFT & DeFi projects. Below are a few of them:

Saswath: Worked as Full Stack Engineer for We2 businesses for 3 years. As a Blockchain Developer, he possesses expertise in a range of technologies including React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, Express.js, Solidity, and Rust. He’s been actively building BOS components for the past 5 months.

Nearverse Labs has been contributing to NEAR, building NFT infrastructure starting in March, 2022. Functioning with limited resources, here’s some of the DApps that we built so far:

Other Blockchains: We have our presence outside of Near as well. We have been actively building on ICP Blockchain and Cardano. We were awarded a developer grant by DFinity Foundation (ICP) for building a SocialFi DApp. On Cardano, we have been working on gamification of NFT-infra for the last 6 months.

** Section 6: About the application

The Vulcan Allowlist Management Platform has significantly aided NEAR NFT/DeFi projects in managing their allowlists with ease. NEAR users have been able to claim and manage all project allowlists in one centralized location. Over 12 months, more than 10,000 allowlists were claimed by over 3,500 unique accounts, and the platform has served more than 30 projects. However, due to a lack of resources, we were unable to maintain the platform and fix issues. Additionally, we were unable to request funding for upgrades since Vulcan is a joint venture with a third party outside the NEAR ecosystem.

Recognizing the ongoing need for an allowlist platform by current and upcoming NFT & DeFi projects, we plan to rebuild this platform from scratch on the BOS. This new version will be set up in a permissionless manner, free to use, and its license will be open-sourced. With the emerging wave of meme coin and NFT projects, this platform will enable projects to easily collect and maintain user allowlists.

How It Works:

  • Any project can list itself on the platform by filling out a form with project details and importing the Discord bot into their Discord server for configuration.

  • Based on this configuration, eligible users will be able to claim their allowlist spot (submitting their wallet details) to participate in NFT pre-sales, receive NFT or meme coin airdrops, etc.

  • Projects can export a list of user IDs and corresponding NEAR wallet IDs to a CSV file for use during minting, pre-sales, or airdrops.

  • Elimination of manual address input by users.

  • Serves as a directory for user addresses during airdrops.

For Users:

  • A centralized place to track and manage allowlists.

  • Automatic claiming based on Discord roles, if eligible.

Thank you for taking the time to draft the proposal and for your contributions to the Near NFT ecosystem. Your project, Vulcan, was one of the good projects that added value.

After careful consideration of your proposal, we are happy to support your project if there are no concerns from our technical advisor @plugrel . For transparency, here are the highlights of our discussion:

  • As part of the Nearverse team, @Punter.near attended the evaluation meeting, abstained from comments and voting, and responded to our questions.
  • I asked a question about the sustainability of the project as there is no revenue model. @Punter.near responded by saying that the team will support the project for 18 months with this funding and will apply for additional funding after 18 months for any upgrades needed and/or team support.
  • As the Vulcan project is not applicable for Near, the system will be built on BOS, and the team has a good track record. I and @Aescobar voted yes to support.

Replying on behalf of @enigma_nvl as he can not add links or attachments.

  • As per the present design, projects can set up Allowlist conditions and list on the dashboard by themselves. We are open to suggestions on making the platform more permissionless.

  • Regarding custom requirements for NFT project allowlists, we currently support criteria based on Discord roles. We are open to integrating wallet based requirements, such as minimum $NEAR holdings or specific NFT possession, to enhance flexibility.

  • NEP 141 Projects like NEKO utilized the platform in the past. The token projects can defining allowlist criteria based on specific wallet.

  • I have briefly explained process flow both on Admin side (Setup & Allowlist export) and on the user side (claim Allowlist)

  • Project owner login to BOS with their Near wallet
  • Connect Discord account
  • Choose the project from the list of projects that the user is the Admin for
  • Fill the form with project info and custom conditions
  • Import the Discord Bot to their discord server and configure it (if the Allowlists are based on pre-defined Discord roles). The setup is complete.
  • The admin may choose to export the list of Allowlist addresses whenever they like by selecting “export addresses” option in the admin panel.

In the present design, users manually access individual projects and claim allowlists. This process could well be automated, and we can implement auto-claim allowlists. But it would be better to leave this option to the projects, as most projects would like to reward active users who claim allowlist by choice.

  • Users will follow the same login flow as admins
  • Choose the project they wish to claim for Allowlist
  • If it is discord-based Allowlist, they choose the role that they are eligible for and claim it. For custom requirements.
