GM,
My name is Kent, (@kentf) and I am the co-founder and CTO of https://www.agora.xyz. We are the primary builders of: https://gov.houseofstake.org and are working closely with the Security Council, FastNEAR, Gauntlet and the NF on the next round of contract changes and updates.
Hard to believe that https://gov.houseofstake.org hasn’t even been alive for a month yet but I wanted to share an update on the product side and we will commit to do this every 2 weeks going forward.

Huge shoutout to our amazing team at Agora team that worked through Thanksgiving (lots of Canadians) to get House of Stake live on October 13th, and to the countless partners at the NF, Gauntlet, Hack Humanity and more that played a vital role in getting us to where we are.
What we are working on
Better support for multi-transaction calls: The most common error is that a pop up blocker will block one of your transactions needs to Lock and Stake and you could end up in a weird state. We have helped many folks through this in the Support Channel as it’s different on a per user basis, we are working to solve this at the core during this next Sprint.
Support for Fireblocks: We are working with Hot Connect to see how we can safely and securely support Fireblocks for large NEAR Custody holders.
Rewards: As you have seen from the Assets page, there is a plan for House of Stake rewards for veNEAR holders. We are working closely with the NF Finance, Legal and Gauntlet to get that ready to go.
Custom staking pool in the UI: This way you don’t need to interact with the CLI to stake to a custom staking pool.
Longer proposals onchain: We ran into proposal size limits and are pushing through a minor contract change to support this.
Support: We are continuing to provide support in the Support Channel and doing our best to categorize and solve the root problems vs. hand to hand combat, but we are doing that too.
Roadmapping: We are working with the community and our partners (NF, FastNEAR, Gauntlet, Hack Humanity) to decide on where the next investments should come across contracts and product. More on that in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your support, and patience and we work through the first few weeks of House of Stake and thank you to everyone that has given us feedback and reported issues in the support channel, as it lets us deliver better software faster.
Happy Halloween, see you in a few weeks. ![]()
