On the last Sunday of the month of August, the 28th, the opening night of the “FEMINU August Show” took place on this date, 5 events will take place simultaneously: 4 exhibitions of visual arts and 1 collective exhibition of sound art. In this way, under the curatorship of @ghini, we have a wide range of concepts, techniques and sounds that reflect our country’s artistic and cultural diversity. An unprecedented opening with a festive atmosphere animated by a dj set (live performance) by DJ May with the special participation of the musician Junix (guitar), with a selection of music with electronic beats with African roots and other ethnic groups in a fusion with contemporary psychedelia. The duo provided a special visual with virtual projections in the midst of the official logos of NEAR, MINTBASE and FEMINU DAO, following the same aesthetic used in the promotional pieces of the event that circulate on the web in formats adjusted to the social networks used for dissemination. It was a great party!

Highlights:

  • Our goals have been reached and exceeded in terms of visitation statistics. The opening party was conceived as a meeting point between artists, curators, and the public who, dancing, and sent messages in the chat, with many compliments, as everyone vibrated at the FEMINU Gallery for some hours of entertainment and good vibes.

  • Regarding the disclosure of the NEAR ecosystem and the artistic and marketing value of NFT, we observed that many people still do not know about the metaverse. This event was more of a good opportunity for an introduction.

  • We see the power of the network expanding more and more with these connections between the visual arts and music.

Metrics of success:

355 visitors at the opening party and 444 counting the first three days, which contributed to Parcel entering the Voxels trending ranking as one of the top 20 most visited parcels of the week.
