Rising DAO and Nearverse (dev team) developed the following to explore our ideas for a Trend Tracker for creative projects onchain. We were awarded funds to :
- Research the space with artists and creatives
- Develop a product wireframe
- Identify key targets for further development
Our research was executed by DAO Advisors from DAO Records as well as independently within our DAO. Our key focus was understand how creatives wish to share their products and products, how they currently distribute information and their experiences working onchain to further their brands and deeper insights.
We had challenges obtaining some key insights on the larger strategies for projects primarily because creatives have a hard time competing with more technical products. However, the core idea of the tracker as a means to help showcase trends was very exciting to creatives projects and those we spoke with said they would utilize a platform which gave them visibility.
The Nearverse team developed this wireframe from their own research (and the foundational feedback that creatives would be interested in onboarding into the tracker. The framework modeled as an index and would provide a simple framework for trending subjects and products.
Upon completion of these first two steps we understand that media companies, executive producers and news related outlets (tied to blockchain news) would be the target users (and possible investors). We have provided the concept to two producers in Los Angeles and will return to them at the end of October to explore interest. We await their feedback before extending the research or outreach to the media industry.
