This week I worked on upgrading the contract to allow organizers to set the price for each of their tickets on a specified event. The contract also allows to set one account to receive the platform fee when initializing the contract. With all this put together, we find a pretty complete dApp where users can start posting and advertising events for other interested parties to be part of. When a user decides to buy a ticket for a specific event, they can choose (if possible) the ticket they want to buy, whether it’s in general, vip or whatever ticket types the owners set previously, they proceed with the payment and the organizer receives their ticket value and the platform discounts the fee set on the contract (currently 3%) to allow for project growth and marketing purposes. Besides the changes on the side of the contract, I developed some new features to improve significantly the UX/UI To give the app a fresher look and a make it feel less “plastic” when used. We look forward to keep making the app better and developing more features that can make NEAR Future Tickets a worth trying app for everyone looking to organize any event of any kind on the NEAR Protocol.
