Hey there, NEAR Fam! We’re from IDNFT, and we want to share our plan to help boost the number of users and developers in the NEAR ecosystem. This aligns perfectly with NEAR’s goal of mass onboarding.
Our aim is to kickstart a program where we visit famous institutions in Indonesia, coordinate groups at each university, provide education about Web3 and blockchain, and introduce the best technologies available.
From our analysis, we see great potential in forming a long-term partnership with NEAR. This proposal is our way of showing goodwill and taking the first steps towards more serious and substantial collaborations. Experience
My name is Santosa, and I am the founder of IDNFT, the largest NFT and Web3 community in Indonesia. Additionally, I am actively building the Metadev community, dedicated to Web3 developers in Indonesia. In my work within the Web3 space in Indonesia, I have primarily focused on education and adoption efforts, which include organizing events like IDNFT Academy with over 2000 participants and Web3 on Campus, conducted in collaboration with more than 10 of the biggest campuses in Indonesia, attracting over 2500 participants.
Some of the notable Web3 projects I have completed include the IDNFT Academy, a comprehensive Web3 and NFT education program, and Web3 on Campus, a series of educational events held in partnership with prominent Indonesian campuses. Additionally, I have been actively involved in building and nurturing the Metadev community, a thriving ecosystem for Web3 developers in Indonesia.

This program provides universities with fast and reliable access to education and information updates from NFT and Web3 industry players and aims to give students an overview of new opportunities and potential career paths in the field.

In Indonesia, Web3 adoption is still limited, and universities struggle to provide formal and professional education in this field. There is a clear need for a direct and formal approach through educational institutions. We require a platform for continuous and sustainable growth

Web3 on Campus brings in experts, direct representatives, role models, and real-life project examples. Here, we can also onboard newcomers into Web3 with existing use cases. This is the most effective means to provide education and foster adoption simultaneously
What Are the Goals of This Project?
WEB3 On Campus is a collaborative program between IDNFT and universities aimed at supporting the Three Pillars of Higher Education by providing socialization, education, research, and opportunities for students in the fields of Blockchain, NFTs, Web3, and the Metaverse in Indonesia.
This program provides universities with fast and reliable access to education and information updates from NFT and Web3 industry players and aims to give students an overview of new opportunities and potential career paths in the field.
Additionally, this program serves as a way to onboard a large number of developers and users into the Web3 ecosystem and provides space for project showcases
Educating and building the ecosystem directly with real use cases that participants can adopt immediately. We believe that the best way to achieve adoption is by trying it out

We’ve got some big plans too, like organizing a university competition together with NEAR Indonesia. One of the exciting ideas is to hold a Hackathon for creating components or dapps on NEAR BOS.
