Project description:

1. Problem Statement
After the 2020 / 2022 boom of NFTs as collectables and increasing number of blockchain enthusiasts the NEAR ecosystems still faces 2 main challenges: 1. relatively low number of people owning a wallet. 2. few consumer use-cases beyond financial, gaming and digital art collections. We want to create an attractive and impactful project showcasing some of the potential of blockchain including the different touch points and possibilities of utility NFTs.

2. Golden Circle:

What
Experience that connects the values of the local culture (Lisbon) and the values of sustainability that are the axis of NEAR, to simultaneously bring art and tokens together as a bridge of triple positive impact projects: social, economic and environmental.

How
Virtual Gallery of sardines in 3D with which you can play in AR, interact and buy in NFT format. Every time a NFTsardine is bought, artists are supported and NGO receive revenue to clean up Tajo River. And with the same token, attendees can physically claim a reward at the eXplorins stand within NEARCON.

Hello from Barcelona @blusw @williamx im tagging you to ask for help or any advice in order to put on action this idea that we have.

So we seek through an icon already known within the society in Lisbon the possibility of generating resources to take action in the recovery of plastic waste in the seas and rivers but also to publicize the NEAR blockchain, its concern for the environment and the Mintbase platform as the exclusive home of the project.
This in order to begin to generate a base of artists who are already active in (ETH/TEZ) to make art for this blockchain and within this marketplace.

Al the info are all ready here in this theme, but with pleasure we can share with you any extra info that you want. Please, let us know.

GN here in Barcelona @Cryptonaut and @Monish016 i write to you asking for some help or guidance in order to get in action with our idea in a few words we want to launch a genesis drop of 20 artists on Mintbase of a Sardines Collection ! as you know its an important symbol in Lisboa so its an amazing opportunity to start this journey of showing the people the power of the NEAR blockchain but also with the importance of the enviroment.

So, all the info its on this theme, but you can ask us for any extra info

Nice Idea, but I guess you are already late.

Also, I doubt if NF is willing to send 2 people of the same project.

I guess if you travel by flight will save a few hundred, also your important time.

Hello @Panot_eXplorins,

Thank you for the proposal. I believe that proposals regarding NEARCON should be redirected to community category. However, I think you’re a bit late. AFAIK Marketing vertical does accept proposal related to NEARCON but only before the 8th of August.

I’m sorry to inform this proposal doesn’t fall under Creatives scope of funding.
