Hello community members! I have been working with some artists to develop a project proposal based in Bristol, UK 
We live in an old, almost abandoned school which is going to be redeveloped soon, and we were inspired to come up with a collaborative project that would enable us to work within the school to create a body of work together!
Project Proposal:
A three week long residency allowing 3 x artists to create a collaborative body of work in response to (and working within) a disused school and grade II listed building which is currently a temporary living accommodation in Bristol, UK.
Over 50% of the building footprint is abandoned and in a state of severe neglect. The space is in a state of flux as the building owners intend to redevelop it into a luxury eldery living complex; currently the future of the building and those who live in it temporarily, is unknown. The three artists engaged are all residents of this building.
Through this project the artists will occupy the space, creating work that responds to this physical and/or metaphorical ‘space’.
The artists will work together during the residency to establish common theme/s around which to base the final body of work, and on completion of the residency will open the space for the wider public to view the works.

Hannah has a near name but the other two will create accounts if the project is able to go ahead
Outputs
- 3 x artists engaged
- 2 x artists onboarded to NEAR protocol
- 3 week long residency
- 1 x open studio event on completion of residency
- 1 x NFT minted through mutti collective on completion of residency
Timeline
The project would take place and be completed in March. The artists are already engaged and ready to get started immediately if the project is approved.
Outcomes
- Creation of a new body of work + open studio exhibition
- Development and progression for 3 artists
- Catalyst for additional future projects to be developed/funded via digital currencies
Budget
450 USD material costs (150 USD / artist)
80 USD onboarding working with Muti Collective
The artists will cover all the event costs for the open studio exhibition
530 USD Total
