[PROPOSAL] Metacoin and Decentralized Project - April 2022

Project Timeline: April 5th – 30th

The main objective of this project is to feed the liquidity pool from metacoin and fund the project that was voted by metacoin holders. We also will open new submissions from metacoin holders here as soon as the project receives funding. WE WILL ONLY FUND PROJECTS WITH SOME RELATION TO NEAR AND THE METAVERSE.

Justification (benefits): The relevance of this project is to fulfill the ideal of decentralization over the decisions, that are the very essence of the DAOs and of NEAR Foundation intentions. This is also important because it gives an important role to the community, by democratizing part of the budget for people who values and holds our token. This has an interesting consequence, which is to give a utility to the token and probably raise its price in the market.

Project: We created the token Metacoin and put it in a liquidity pool with DAI. Our project is to keep feeding the liquidity pool, we already have a white paper (or similar document) for the token, and we will continue to publicize its swap possibility, distribute it through the community, and help metacoin holders to submit and vote.

About the Metacoin token:

Utility: submission power and voting power on a project to be funded with 5% of our max budget.

Timeline

April 7th - 14th:

Publicizing of Metacoin and Decentralized Project.
Submission of projects (ALL PROJECTS SHOULD BE SUBMITED HERE AS A COMMENT; PLEASE YOU ALREADY CAN SUBMIT IT, AND AS SOON AS WE GET FUNDING, WE WILL COME HERE TO EVALUATE THE VOTES FOR EACH PROJECT)

April 14th

To decide which project submitted we will fund this month (decision by holders).

April 15th:

Feed liquidity pool.
Start the project (we only give the funding after the completed project).

April 28th:

To expect for the project accountability.

April 30th

To make our accountability for Metacoin and decentralized project.

Budget

250 usd in near: to feed the liquidity pool.
250 usd in near: to fund the decentralized project.

TOTAL: 500 usd in NEAR

Final Products: Metacoins distributed among community and in a liquidity pool, and a funded project of 250 usd in near budget.

Hi, @Dabbie3229! Metacoin are distributed to: the people who have successfull projects within our DAO, the people who won a bounty within Metaverse DAO, and the council members of Metaverse DAO. Last month we also distributed 10 metacoins to 10 DAOs which had some metaverse contact with Metaverse DAO. But I forgot to tell you that you can also buy metacoins on ref.finance by the contract adress: metacoin.tkn.near

Just submit your project here as a comment. The project can use the same model of the proposal here. This project is contingent to our funding proposal being approved. When the voting date arrive, we will verify how many metacoins each person has in its wallet, and each one can vote with its amount of metacoins in a project. All projects must have something to do with NEAR and METAVERSE.
