Follow discussion with Human Guild team, we would like to propose pre-approved marketing campaign for motoDEX NEAR native game (OpenBiSea | MotoDEX).

What are we planning to do?

  • Variable campaigns on Galxe for early players. We will payout for people who buy in game NFTs, who play game, giveways for players, giveway for retweets (where NEAR mention)
  • Twitter: 1 post per week (@openbisea, @near) with incentive campaign on Galxe
  • Weekly competition (on OpenBiSea | MotoDEX) with prizes

Marketing Activities

  • Create Galxe campaigns (2-3 per week) with rewards
  • Use own UA channels to attract new users
  • Post campaign community support
  • Social Media Content Writing

Measurements

  • Amount of Galxe campaigns - 2-3 per week with rewards
  • Amount of posts/tweets over all social media channels - 1 per week
  • Content Creation for posts and campaigns (pictures, graphic design done by a brand designer/graphic designer)

We will use dappRadar to track each part of campaign and report.

Targets (potential value for NEAR ecosystem)

We believe (follow past results on Aurora) to reach 0.7-1k new unique wallets with 1-2k transactions per day.

  • Brand Awareness increase of NEAR
  • Enhancing community in game and increase transactions on dappRadar
  • Motivate beginners to join the NEAR ecosystem to get involved in blockchain games

As MDAO transits into V1, House of Merit received Vision Key Metrics from CoA and shared them with MDAO. Read more Here and align with it.

Few comments:

-How many active users do you currently have?

-Your planning ahead does not align with our KPIs, please read and edit your proposal

-Incentivizing is good if it helps with retention, but it is mostly a short-term measure if users stop receiving it and move on to the next one. if you can colab with the ecosystem, regional community leaders will help in the mass adoption of your game.

-The Android version is smooth and looks interesting.

-I need a breakdown of how to utilize the fund too.

Hi @oleksiivinogradov thanks for the proposal. To echo @Bakaka what we need to see in each proposal we are evaluating are specific plans to align with current NDC PKIs for community funding.

You can view the full MDAO guidelines for October here. To quote from that post:

The following metrics that will be used for tracking individual initiatives’ performance by Marketing (Eco) DAO. All the metrics must be attributable to the relevant project/initiative through on-chain activity and off-chain reporting, ensuring GDPR compliance and preserving privacy:

  1. Accounts retention after 1/2/4/8 weeks — the percentage of accounts who continue interacting on the chain over a given time period (higher is better)
  2. Account acquisition cost — budget divided by the number of accounts interacting through the funded initiative (lower is better)
  3. Median number of dApps used by P95 accounts retained for 1+ week (higher is better)
  4. Number of accounts retained for 1+ week using at least three dApps (higher is better)
  5. Social engagement score — some compound metric of the number of posts, likes, and followers/views in social media produced by the users.

Let’s take this example: Why should Marketing (Eco) DAO fund Project X?

  1. Project X should have a clear goal and target audience
  2. Project X should bring improvements to several metrics listed above

It’s crucial that we get a clear understanding not only of 1) what KPIs you intend to use to track performance and 2) how your team plans to track/capture these and show them to MDAO so we can evaluate accordingly if you receive approval.
