For our last proposal (February)
We held 8 NEKO Morning Shows which had a total of (12,739 views) with an average of (1,592 views), and a total of (48,056 Impressions) with an average of (6,007 Impressions per show) across multiple streaming platforms.

We held 8 NEKO Morning Shows which had a total of ( 11,168 views) with an average of (1,396 views), and a total of (39,514 Impressions) with an average of (4,939 Impressions per show) across multiple streaming platforms.

In March, we did not receive funding, although our original request was for $4,600. If funded, the cost per view would have been $0.41 per view and $0.116 per impression.

Performance Statement: What is the biggest win (most improved part of project) during this funding period vs. the previous one (if applicable)?

In Season 8 (March), we witnessed an impressive surge in live views, the biggest yet with a peak of over 630 viewers during one of our live episodes, and an average of over 450 viewers on all episodes across 6 out of 10 platforms we utilize!!!

We attribute this success to our innovative use of tools such as QR code scans, which direct viewers to specific sites, topics, articles, Dapps or tweets during the show. The widespread adoption of these interactive task features is evident in the consistent occurrence of hundreds of scans per episode.

In addition to our impressive live views, we maintained remarkable metrics for past views during Season 8. We accumulated a total of 11,168 views, averaging 1,396 views per episode, and received a total of 39,514 impressions, averaging 4,939 impressions per show across multiple streaming platforms. If we would have received funding for this season, we would have achieved $0.41 per view and $0.116 per impression. These metrics speak for themselves. The NMS is a huge benefit to the Near ecosystem and continues to push impressive numbers season after season.

With these impressive metrics, it’s clear that the Neko Morning Show stands out as the premier podcast on the NEAR Protocol platform.

Performance statement: What is the biggest challenge your project is facing? What did not improve during this funding period? *

Despite achieving record-breaking metrics in Season 8, our main challenge is securing consistent funding to sustain and expand our contributions to the NEAR Protocol ecosystem.

Funding for the last season mainly relied on the hosts’ personal pockets and contributions from NEKO, demonstrating our dedication to delivering quality content despite financial challenges. However, without external funding, our ability to grow and improve is restricted, especially concerning subscription payments and compensating our team behind the scenes. Nevertheless, we are committed to providing top-notch entertainment, education, and valuable insights to our audience, regardless of financial challenges. We plan on asking the MDAO and NDC for continuous funding as we continue to push out impressive results.
