F. History of Interactions with NEAR Protocol:
Joined the team at Veax in 2024 as head of growth, operations and business development hence, in that role and for the last several months, have met and engaged with many NF team members and wider communities across Near Protocol projects.
G. History of Governance Participation (in NEAR or other ecosystems):
None in Web3 , my Board, Governance & Compliance experience is from traditional financial services.
I have been a regulated “fit & proper” person as defined by the UKs Financial Conduct Authority holding several significant management functions over a 20 year period.
I appear on the FCA register
H. Top 3 Priorities for the NEAR Ecosystem:
The Near global vision is built on 3 pillars
1.User owned AI
2.Chain abstraction/Near Intents
3.Near Protocol blockchain
My priority will be to support the development of projects that build upon those pillars ensuring they meet the core objective of better outcomes and economic success for users, ensuring battle tested business plans & roadmaps are in place, whilst ensuring data driven targets are met or exceeded via KPIs and cost optimisation.
I. Reasoning for any past votes in the NEAR Ecosystem: N/A
J. Conflicts of Interest: None , except if Veax is directly involved.
K. Answer Hypothetical Delegate Scenario:
Additional information required:
1.DeFi Incentives Allocation
Detailed breakdown of incentive distribution. Who benefits and how.
Past data on performance of similar incentive programs in the NEAR ecosystem.
Expected impact on liquidity, TVL and active users.
Sustainability plan to maintain user retention post-incentives.
Potential risks of yield farming exploitation and bad actors
2.Subcommittee for Marketing NEAR
Clear goals, KPIs, and deliverables for developer and user acquisition.
Budget allocation and expected ROI.
Any past data on success or failure of similar marketing efforts.

3.Protocol-Owned Liquidity (POL) by House of Stake
How much is the capital allocation and potential risks.
Expected impact on liquidity depth across NEAR DeFi.
Revenue generation modelled out and sustainability of the positions.
Comparison to other ecosystems’ POL strategies and their effectiveness.
Governance structure for managing the liquidity.
Key Metrics for Evaluation:
- For DeFi Incentives
Increase in TVL, daily active users, and flow/volume
Retention rate
Impact on protocol revenue and sustainability
2.For Marketing Subcommittee:
Developer onboarding rate and new project launches.
Increase in onchain transactions and active wallets.
Effectiveness of campaigns in driving real adoption.
3.For Protocol-Owned Liquidity
Growth in liquidity depth and trading efficiency.
Yield generated vs. risk exposure.
Reduction in slippage and improved trading experience.
My Voting Strategy
Support Proposal 3 (Protocol-Owned Liquidity)
POL is a long-term solution that directly strengthens NEAR’s DeFi ecosystem, ensuring sustained liquidity rather than temporary incentives.
Support Proposal 2 (Marketing Subcommittee)- with regular reviews
If structured effectively with measurable KPIs, it can bring long-term network effects. However, execution needs to be performance-driven.
Support Proposal 1 with defined KPIs (DeFi Incentives) and with real time data
Short-term incentives often lead to temporary spikes but lack sustainability.Sustainability plan to maintain user retention post-incentives must be met or exceeded.
L. What is your motivation for becoming a NEAR delegate?
My motivation revolves around various themes, driving real impact in web3 , supporting developers and users, focusing on sustaniable growth and ensuring DAO Governance decisions translate into positive economic outcomes.
M. Anticipated delegation support : N/A
Self Assessment Criteria
A. Experience: 2/2
I have been involved in the web3 industry for 4 years, in personal capacity and for the last year working for Veax in operational, growth and BD roles
I have 20+ years experience in Tradfi at executive and board level, being regulated and approved by the UKs Financial Conduct Authority.
B. Diversity of Perspective: 2/2
Because of my many years experience in TradFi managing and governing the day to day operations and PnL of retail brokerages I bring a unique perspective to the HoS compared to other delegates
C. Alignment with Near Ecosystem: 2/2
Both in my role with Veax and the roles I had in TradFi, building products and services that align with positive user outcomes and economic success is at the heart of the vision I have had in the past and now building on Near Protocol.
D. Governance Engagement: 1/2
I am very much at home with governance roles, I have marked 1 because these roles have not been onchain , hence I am keen to learn and gain experience.
E. Conflicts of Interest: 1/2
None at this moment in time, unless my work at Veax creates one, so I have market 1 out of 2.
