Cosmia collabora al programma Incubadora Artist Stipend
Premio: l’equivalente di 150€/mese in NEAR per due mesi per ciascuno degli otto scrittori selezionati
Poiché condividiamo questo obiettivo di supportare gli scrittori, - da parte nostra le scrittrici - abbiamo deciso di unirci a questo round del fantastico progetto di Incubadora DAO

Per questa edizione del programma di borse di studio, quindi, sosterremo quattro scrittori di lingua portoghese e quattro scrittori di lingua italiana per il periodo di due mesi (aprile e maggio) 2022).
Il contributo bimestrale di Incubadora e Cosmia intende incoraggiare le Scrittrici e gli scrittori a creare senza troppo avvertire la pressione di dover vendere subito il loro lavoro. Proprio per questa intenzione di sostenere, non si richiede agli scrittori di pubblicare o vendere il loro lavoro a meno che non siano loro stessi a volerlo. Offriamo ulteriori opportunità e ricompense nel caso in cui gli scrittori desiderino vendere il loro lavoro sviluppato o interagire con la comunità NEAR (maggiori informazioni di seguito).

Per candidarti, vai alla pagina di Cosmia sul NEAR Governance Forum qui e crea un nuovo post cliccando su “+ NEW TOPIC” in alto a destra della pagina. Il titolo del post dovrebbe essere “[APPLICATION] Artist Fellowship Program - artist’s name.near - portfolio”

Per richiedere questo stipendio, vai alla pagina di Incubadora su NEAR Governance Forum qui e fai un nuovo post cliccando su “+ New Topic ” nella parte in alto a destra della pagina. Il titolo del nuovo post deve essere “[APPLICAZIONE] Programa de Bolsas Artísticas - artist.near - portfolio”

Dopo aver compilato il titolo del progetto, aggiungi la parola “opencall” nell’area “tag opzionali”. Infine, includi le seguenti informazioni nel corpo del tuo post:
- Nome e ID account NEAR (NEAR Wallet)
- Posizione (città e paese)
- Gestore/i dei social media
- Sito Web/Portfolio online se applicabile
- Dichiarazione dell’artista - parlaci della tua pratica e del tuo intento artistico; max. 5-10 frasi
- Progetti in corso o futuri - che tipo di lavoro ti permetterà di perseguire questo stipendio?; max. 5 frasi
- Esempi del tuo lavoro - max. 4 pezzi (se non già sui social e/o su un sito web o portfolio virtuale)
Ove possibile si richiede la traduzione dei suddetti materiali anche in inglese.
PROGRAMMA
- Il bando viene pubblicato nel Forum - entro l’11 marzo
- Periodo di iscrizione aperto con gli artisti che pubblicano sul Forum – 11-25 marzo
- Le domande vengono esaminate dalla giuria – 25-31 marzo
- Selezione delle prime 8 candidature (4 in ciascuna lingua): entro il 1 aprile
- I primi 8 vincitori vengono contattati per pubblicare la loro proposta di pagamento su Incubadora AstroDAO o su Cosmia [[AstroDAO](https:/ /app.astrodao.com/dao/cosmia.sputnik-dao.near)] per ricevere la prima mensilità della borsa di studio per il primo mese, aprile. Lo stesso accadrà nel secondo mese, maggio.

NOTA: Il team di Incubadora/Cosmia si occuperà di contattare gli artisti affinché possano effettuare la loro richiesta di pagamento e indicherà l’importo da richiedere. Si prega di non effettuare l’ordine su AstroDAO prima di essere contattati da noi.
- Dopo la fine del programma, agli artisti selezionati verrà richiesto di riferire sull’esperienza, sulle lezioni apprese e/o sugli impatti della sovvenzione. Nota: non ci aspettiamo opere finite, tuttavia se ci sono materiali o opere d’arte disponibili da condividere con noi alla fine del periodo della borsa di studio, saremo felici di celebrarli! Ti chiederemo anche: come è stata la tua esperienza con la conversione NEAR alle valute locali? L’importo offerto è stato sufficiente per raggiungere l’obiettivo? Preferibilmente, la relazione deve essere pubblicata entro il 10 giugno 2022 e contenere circa 500 parole.

Criteri di selezione
Per questo quarto round del programma di borse di studio, saranno le scrittrici di lingua portoghese e italiana saranno al centro del supporto, al fine di onorare le origini geografiche di Incubadora DAO e di Cosmia DAO. Non ci sono limiti di età, né di esperienza nel mestiere. Verranno valutati il percorso degli artisti e la qualità del lavoro.
I membri della giuria per questo quarto round sono, per la lingua portoghese: Carolina Parreira + [Juliana Matsumura](NEAR Forum /julianam) + Hérika Lorena + Sâmia Siqueira.
I membri della giuria di questa quarta edizione, per la lingua italiana, sono il Circolo Cosmia: Barbara Tosti + Francesca Fretti + Stefania Giudici + Miss Purplue
Le giurie cercano una visione forte e una chiarezza di intenti da parte dell’autore… Si terrà conto anche dell’impatto della borsa di studio sull’artista, poiché Incubadora e Cosmia vogliono aiutare gli artisti che ne hanno più bisogno. Sarà quindi importante dimostrare nella candidatura come questo supporto andrà a costituire una risorsa per lo sviluppo artistico. Se la giuria lo riterrà necessario, potrà essere richiesta una videointervista a completamento del processo di candidatura.
I membri della giuria utilizzeranno una scala da 0 a 5 per valutare ogni candidato, determinerà quindi i primi 4 di ogni lingua con voto unanime. Gli autori non selezionati possono richiedere chiarimenti sulla decisione di voto della giuria, a titolo personale.
Se sei selezionato per beneficiare dello stipendio:
- Ti verrà chiesto di unirti alla Incubadora Telegram Chat e/o alla Cosmia Telegram Chat in modo da avere una linea diretta con la comunità Incubadora/Cosmia e i membri del consiglio in caso di domande o dubbi su NEAR e sul programma.
Ulteriori vantaggi a disposizione degli artisti selezionati (Cosmia)
- Minti la tua arte su Mintbase e diventi un collaboratore del Cosmia Store 1 NEAR per pezzo coniato (max 2)
- Minti la tua arte su Mintbase e diventi un collaboratore del Narrandomnia Store 1 NEAR per pezzo coniato (max 2)
- Consentirai che qualsiasi lavoro completato attraverso il programma di stipendio venga coniato come parte di altri progetti di collaborazione DAO di Incubadora (con Cosmia, muti, CUDO, ecc.) - il pagamento sarà subordinato a questi accordi futuri di partnership
Una volta ricevuto ricevuto la borsa di studio, potrai farne una seconda richiesta dopo altri tre cicli di finanziamento per dare a tutti la possibilità di beneficiarne.

Cosmia collaborate to Incubadora Artist Stipend Program
Reward: the equivalent of 150€/month in NEAR for two months for each of the eight writers selected
Since we share this aim to support writers, by our part female writers, we decided to join this round of the amazing project of Incubadora DAO
Artist Stipend Program, now at the fourth edition, (Topics tagged cosmia-dao) to expand that support.
For this edition of the fellowship program, then, we seek to support four Portuguese-speaking writers and four Italian-speaking writers for the period of two months (April and May) 2022).
Over these two months, Incubadora and Cosmia will financially support these writers so that they can create without any commercial pressure to sell their work. Given the intention to support, this grant will not require writers to publish or sell their work unless it makes sense for the moment of their careers and they want to do so. We offer further opportunities and rewards in case writers want to sell their developed work or interact with the NEAR community (more information below).
How to Apply
For Italian-speaking writers:
To apply, go to Cosmia’s page on the NEAR Governance Forum here and create a new post by clicking on “+ New Topic” at the top right of the page. The title of the post should be “[APPLICATION] Artist Fellowship Program - artist’s name.near portfolio” (example: [APPLICATION] Artist Fellowship Program - name.near)
For Portuguese-speaking writers:
To apply for this stipend, go to Incubadora’s page on NEAR Governance Forum here and make a new post by clicking on “+ New Topic” at the upper right side of the page. The title of the new post must be “[APPLICATION] Programa de Bolsas Artísticas - near wallet of the artist” (ex. [APPLICATION] Programa de Bolsas Artísticas - incubadora.near)

After filling the title, add the word “opencall” in the “optional tags” area. Finally, include the following information in the body of your post:
- Name & NEAR Account ID (NEAR Wallet)
- Location (city and country)
- Social media handle(s)
- Website/Online Portfolio if applicable
- Artist Statement - tell us about your practice and artistic intent; max. 5-10 sentences
- Blurb of Current/Planned Project - what kind of work will this stipend allow you to pursue?; max. 5 sentences
- Previous samples of your work - max. 4 pieces (if not already on social media and/or a website or virtual portfolio)
While the first language of this DAO is Italian, please submit as many materials as possible in English as well if possible. The inability to do so will not be penalized.
Process & Timeline
- This open call for applicants is posted on the Forum - by march 11th
- Application period open with artists posting on the Forum – March 11th - 25th
- Applications are reviewed by jury – March 25th - 31st
- The final round of jury deliberations to select top 8 applications (4 in each language)- by April 1st
- Successful top 8 are contacted to post their payout proposal to the Incubadora AstroDAO or to the Cosmia [AstroDAO] to receive their stipend for the first month (April). The same will happen in the second month, May.

NOTE: Incubadora team will be in charge of contacting the artists so that they can make their payment request and will indicate the amount to be requested. Please do not place the order on AstroDAO before being contacted by us.
- After the end of the program, selected artists will be contacted to report on the experience, lessons learned and/or impacts of the grant. Reminder: No finished works are expected, however if there are materials or artwork available to share with us at the end of the fellowship period, we’ll be happy to celebrate what the program can offer to the artists! We also want to know in this report: How was your experience converting NEAR to local currencies? Was the amount offered sufficient to achieve the goal? Preferably, the report must be posted by June 10, 2022 and contain around 500 words.

Selection Criteria
For this fourth round of the fellowship program, Portuguese and Italian-speaking writers will be the focus of support, in order to match the origins of the DAO Incubator and Cosmia DAO. Writers at all stages of growth within their craft are welcome to apply, but prior experience and quality of work will also be evaluated by the jury.
The jury members for this forth round are, in the portuguese version: Carolina Parreira + Juliana Matsumura + Hérika Lorena + Sâmia Siqueira.
The members of the jury for this fourth edition, in the Italian edition, are the Cosmia Circle: Barbara Tosti + Francesca Fretti + Stefania Giudici + Miss Purplue
The jury will be looking for a strong vision for the proposed work they are looking to create during the stipend program period and for clarity in the writer’s application. The clearer and more concise the better. The impact of this support will also be considered, as Incubadora and Cosmia wants to help the artists who need it most. It is important to demonstrate in the application how this support will be an asset for artistic development. A video interview may be requested later in the application process if the jury deems it necessary.
Each jury member will use a 0-5 voting scale to first-rate each candidate, and then the jury will meet to discuss candidates who received a score that placed them at the top of the collective 70-80% percentage. The jury will then determine the top 4 (each language) by unanimous vote. Writers who are not selected may request clarification on the jury’s voting decision, on a personal basis.
If you are selected to benefit from the stipend:
- You will be asked to join the Incubadora Telegram Chat and/or the Cosmia Telegram Chat so you have a direct line to the Incubadora/Cosmia community and council members should you have any questions or concerns about NEAR and the program.
Further benefits available to the selected artists (Cosmia)
- You mint your art on Mintbase and become a contributor to the Cosmia Store 1 NEAR per piece minted (max 2)
- You mint your art on Mintbase and become a contributor to the Narrandomnia Store 1 NEAR per piece minted (max 2)
- You will allow for any completed work through the stipend program to be minted as part of other Incubadora DAO-collaboration projects (with Cosmia, muti, CUDO, etc.) - payment will be contingent on these future partnerships arrangements
Once you’ve received the stipend, in order to give other artists an opportunity to benefit as well, your application will not be considered for a second stipend until after one complete funding cycle has been completed i.e. after three more stipend rounds.
