The weekly Friday update from the EVM Working Group:
This week, we finished a refactoring of the EVM contract, began integrating the ETH connector with the EVM contract, added tests to validate timelocked EVM contract upgradability, and continued work on accelerating cryptographic functions needed by the EVM contract.
Next week, we are planning to finish integrating the ETH connector with the EVM contract, begin ingesting the Eth1 Goerli testnet through the EVM Bully stress-testing tool, and continue troubleshooting still failing Balancer tests with the new EVM contract.
