Hello all 🙂

Project Name: **VR DAO**

Project Status: [in progress]

Project Accounting: current account balance 390N

**DAO vr-dao.sputnik-dao.near (already on astro)**

Updated Project Timeline:

We have an established council and just hired someone to run our social media. We are focused on developing 3xr.space, and continue to support community projects.

**Highlights:**

\*\* Council member @sainthiago has worked 80h on 3xr.space. [[report here](http://gov.near.org/t/report-december-development-report/11616)]

\*\* Council member @microchipgnu has worked on developing several features on 3xr.space. plus purchased 3D virtual settings to be applied in 3xr.space virtual galleries. . [[Report here](http://gov.near.org/t/approved-3xr-space-multiplayer-development/8875/6)]

\*\* Council member @frnvpr developed the first month of a project to showcase a short-story on 3xr.space. [[Report here](http://gov.near.org/t/approved-science-fiction-short-story-to-be-presented-in-3xr/9717/10)].

\*\* [We created a bounty](http://gov.near.org/t/closed-bounty-vr-dao-social-media-management/9434/5) to hire a social media manager, with Marketing Vertical support. December was the first month with revamped social media efforts.

Learnings:

\*\*\* We are having discussions about the future of 3xr.space, and whether we should apply for a NEAR Grant. More on that on January/February.

Next Steps:

\*\*\*\* For the months of January/February the priority of the VR DAO will be to promote and support high quality VR Projects and focusing on 3XR.space, paving the way for a future NF Grant request.

\*\*\*\* Will continue to look for more council members, ideally with a strong VR background and/or interest.

\*\*\*\* Will expand its scope and influence in the community, using the new instagram and twitter accounts to push for more members and general engagement.
