# \[Report/mpDAO Grant #7\] Liquid Staking with Meta Pool at Peruvian University

We are pleased to announce the activities carried out by **Ethereum Lima** in Huancayo, Peru, during the past month.

**Proposal:** On-site workshop at a university - “Introduction to Liquid Staking with Meta Pool.”

**Objective:** To teach university students the benefits of decentralization and its real-world use cases.

Our workshop took place at the Regional Congress of Economics Students Central East – Huancayo 2024. This congress spanned three days, from August 7th to 10th.  
During the congress, we conducted two sessions in collaboration with DeFinomics Labs.

The first was a workshop explaining “Blockchain Opportunities for Economics Students.”

The second was a three-hour workshop covering topics such as:

- Blockchain and Web3
- Ethereum and What is Staking
- **What is Liquid Staking and How Meta Pool Works**
- **Public Goods Funding** as Part of Economic Design ( **mpDAO Grants** and RetroFunding)

- [#] +30 attendees participated in the workshop
- Over 50% of attendees are now enrolled in a blockchain program for economics students, in partnership with and funded by DeFinomics Labs.
