Hi, community! **Project Name:** INA DAO July **DAO:** inav2.sputnik-dao.near **Council:** - klarakopi.near @klarakopi - beluespina.near @BeluEspina - geminirisingv2.near @GeminiRising **2 Advisors** And 45 **community members** on Astro Thanks for approving our [August budget](http://gov.near.org/t/approved-ina-dao-monthly-budget-for-august-2022/26397) **Project Accounting:** 8.97 N + 1,645.25 DAI + 81.90 MARMAJ / currently 2,075.55 USD **Still to be paid out/claimed:** - 200 USD for gallery update. - 750 USD for Art History presentations. - 150 USD for DJ Bounty for gallery opening - 760 USD for artists in residency program top up - 450 USD for “Seeds” open call - 600 USD for participants in AMA sessions - 873 USD for Council payout divided by 3 (please note, we have not yet received our funds) **Projects/Highlights** - We ran 3 [AMA Sessions](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLo_4bKTLntu0IMDSccYOx_EZQT722Db6h)on our YouTube channel. The guests were @Mailza, @beetlejuice and @Mareelawn . - The opening for the [Seeds](http://gov.near.org/t/open-call-seeds/26188) gallery show will be next Tuesday September 6th at 17:00 UTC at our [Voxels gallery](https://www.cryptovoxels.com/play?coords=NW@249W,661S), as well as our [NearHub gallery](https://nearhub.club/6cg5aHq/ina-dao-gallery). And @Bossbae will be DJ’ing the event. - Our series called [“Art History; the Female Perspective”](http://gov.near.org/t/proposal-art-history-the-female-perspective/22020), is doing well and we are learning so much about female artists that came before us. In August we did 3 live videos, that are now on our [YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLo_4bKTLntu3-kxUQpmwdeWecE-i_byRO). One was about Shrin Nesha, the other was about Hildegard Von Bingen, and lastly Lygia Pape. We have already chosen the next 3 female artists we want to talk about for September. - On Sunday we will finalize the winners of the [Seeds](http://gov.near.org/t/open-call-seeds/26188) open call. We are still having problems with people cheating even though we have set up specific [guidelines](http://gov.near.org/t/ina-dao-member-guidelines/26189) to try to stop this. Unfortunately, the council has had to step in and correct the voting procedure. We are still trying to find a way to democratize voting, as people seem to be ignoring the [guidelines](http://gov.near.org/t/ina-dao-member-guidelines/26189) we have put into place. - Our social media is growing at a steady rate. Our Instagram account now has 507 followers, and our Twitter account has 296 (I made a mistake the month before, that number was how many we were _following_). We will be talking with the winners of the Seeds open call and since they haven’t been chosen yet, the posters have not been made. **Learnings** - We are getting a few more views of our interviews for the AMAs and are hoping to get more on our [YouTube Channel](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLo_4bKTLntu0IMDSccYOx_EZQT722Db6h) as we grow. - We have added some more things to our guidelines and are thinking of even more to prevent cheating that is going on by some of the participants of our DAO. We don’t want to discourage people to participate, but we are finding that some of the artists don’t want to participate because of what is going on. **Next steps** - Continue with the [AMA Sessions](http://gov.near.org/t/proposal-ama-sessions-with-ina-artists-august-2022/26178), which have been a useful way to get the community involved, and raise visibility of female artists in the ecosystem. - Create more projects that encourage artists participation. We think we have come up with a creative way for our September project. We are calling it A Visual Conversation (link to follow) - We are also going to continue our series called [“Art History; the Female Perspective”](http://gov.near.org/t/proposal-art-history-the-female-perspective-august-2022/26177) featuring a discussion about 3 more female artists. Those female artists will be Frida Kalho, Emily Carr and Violeta Parra. - Encourage new participants to join from outside the ecosystem.
