About the group:
The Vergetoff Krump Session is a biweekly meeting that takes place at the Centro Cultural de São Paulo (CCSP), in the neighborhood of Liberdade, in the city of São Paulo.
The event aims to bring together people from the Krump movement - a modality of urban dance related to Hip-Hop - to share experiences,knowledge and ideas, aiming, ultimately, to move the Krump culture scene in São Paulo. As it takes place in a public place, the dance arouses a lot of interest in people who pass by and stop to pay tribute, which also helps to further promote culture.
The Session began in January 2021, with meetings for Krump training between dancers Amy, Bruno, Gabriel and, posteriorly Sonic. Over time, in view of our constancy in holding the meeting, other people became interested and wanted to participate, earning the name of Vergetoff Krump Session, and being today a reference in the movement.

Our objective:
The main objective is to enable a Session day with free presentations, workshops, battles and chat, with pre-production, execution and dissemination on streaming platforms that make up the world of urban dances, with an estimated schedule of one month and 15 days, the event will take place in an independent cultural space with easy access to public transport, so that all Krump dancers who are resident in various peripheral areas of São Paulo can be present.
About realization:
In this context of our objective to promote the Krump culture in the city of São Paulo, we decided to write a project aiming to acquire funds to professionalize the meetings, making it possible to hire dancers for workshops, buy sound equipment and promote battle events with prizes for the winners.
In this way, we will create conditions for the maintenance of professionals in this culture and we encourage the continuity of your studies and projects, strengthening the Krump ecosystem as a whole.
