Projeto: Escrita de um ato do roteiro UM HOMEM

Timeline: 12/09 a 30/09 de 2022.

Budget:: 200 DAI

Objetivo: Escrever um novo ato do filme que está sendo desenvolvido juntamente com Rubens Rewald e Thaís Almeida Prado. O enredo do filme gira em torno de uma mulher que se depara com o corpo de um homem em seu apartamento, após uma festa. Deste encontro, são desencadeadas diversas situações. Além de uma perspectiva bastante existencialista e absurda, esta personagem se depara com os contextos materiais à sua volta. Ela revisita e questiona sua identidade, reflete sobre sua vivência nada fácil na cidade que idealizou e que lhe apresenta uma realidade muito diferente: especulação imobiliária na cidade de São Paulo, a exploração do trabalho, a falta de objetivos na vida e a condenação a solidão são alguns dos caminhos que nossa personagem irá percorrer.
A ideia do roteiro é bastante simples, se passa apenas em uma locação, a casa desta mulher, além de contar com 1 personagem e 1 corpo de um homem.
Desejamos, assim que o tratamento do roteiro estiver pronto, propor a realização do filme (produção, e pós produção) à Filmes de Infiltração DAO.

SINOPSE: Na casa de Elena, seu amigo que divide o apartamento acabou de fazer uma festa de aniversário. Todos os convidados estão bêbados e enlouquecidos e vão para a balada deixando Elena sozinha no apartamento com toda a sujeira e bagunça. Ela olha para o apartamento desolada e descobre que tem um homem deitado em sua cama.

Sobre Nathalia Lorda:
Nathalia Lorda é atriz formada pela Escola de Arte Dramática (EAD/ECA/USP), roterista e Diretora formada pela Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo. (CAC/ECA/USP). Trabalhou nos longa-metragens 1986, de Mauro Lopez; Garotas do ABC; Bens Confiscados, ambos de Carlos Reichenbach; Com Meus Olhos de Cão, de Thaís Almeida Prado; A Estória que me contam, de Lúcia Murat; Bodas de Papel, de André Sturm e nos curta-metragens Faça sua Escolha; De Outros Carnavais; Desavença a italiana, todos de Paulo Miranda. No teatro, trabalhou com diretores como Marco Antônio Bráz, Roberto Lage, Iacov Hillel, Celso Frateschi, Beth Lopes, José Rubens Siqueira, Cristiane Paoli-Quito, Luís Damasceno, Rodrigo Santiago, Frederico Foroni, René Piazentin, entre outros. Atualmente é integrante da Cia Rodriguiana de Repertório e da Cia Estelar de Teatro.

In November 13th we made a first public reading of this text. The house was full and was a really great experience to test the reception of the audition and the potentiality of this text. The reception was really great!

Report: The Script Development of “UM HOMEM” Film

Introduction In this report, we present the progress made in the script development of the film “UM HOMEM” which has been a collaborative effort between renowned filmmakers Rubens Rewald, Thaís Almeida Prado and me Nathalia Lorda (an apprentice in the art of screenwriting). The film, marked by its existentialist and absurd perspective, delves into a captivating narrative centered around a woman who stumbles upon a man’s body in her apartment after a party, setting off a series of intriguing and dynamic situations.

Script Development Timeline Between the months of September and October 2022, considerable strides were made in the script development, primarily focusing on the fourth act of the film. During this phase, the team skillfully explored the complex relationship between memory and reverie that shapes the central character’s journey, adding depth and nuance to the narrative.

Scenic Reading at Satyros Festival As part of the creative process and to gauge the reception of the script, a theatrical version of the fourth act was presented at the esteemed Satyros Festival. This compelling live reading allowed the team to receive valuable feedback from the audience and fine-tune elements of the script for a more immersive experience.

NFT Creation As a testament to the unique artistic nature of the project, the team decided to commemorate the theatrical presentation by creating two non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The first NFT includes a captivating video.gif of the theatrical reading along with the fourth act of the script. The second NFT features the artistic flyer used to promote the presentation.

Next Steps: Towards Cinematographic Realization Building upon the success of the theatrical reading, the team is now actively pursuing a cinematographic realization of “UM HOMEM” However, to bring this visionary project to life, financial support is essential. The team is committed to finding suitable funding avenues to materialize their creative vision.

Conclusion The script development of “UM HOMEM” has been an intriguing journey, blending existential themes with a touch of absurdity. The team’s collaboration with Rubens Rewald and Thaís Almeida Prado has been instrumental in crafting a compelling narrative that promises to captivate audiences on the silver screen. With the support garnered from the theatrical presentation and NFT creation, the team is optimistic about the upcoming cinematographic realisation. The path to bring “UM HOMEM” to the world is paved with artistic brilliance and a relentless pursuit of storytelling excellence.
