TPD Seminars

03 seminars on art, technology and related philosophical topics (each 60 minutes + 30 minutes of questions and answers) that will be taught in Portuguese. The program will be open to everyone who wants to join, for free, through YouTube Live, Facebook and Twitter. The recordings will be available on the Philosophers DAO YouTube channel and extracts from it will be minted on our Mintbase store. Each speaker will write a short text on the topic covered in their seminar to be minted as a 3D object in our Mintbase. This will be a project in integration with the existing Incubadora’s project on philosophical and artistic talks (like this Seminar 1 and Incubadora 1).

All activities will be carried out by experts in art, technology or philosophy, selected according to criteria established by the Philosophers DAO council in partnership with the Incubadora DAO.

For this we will need

• Pre and Post-production. Including the description in videos, minting videos on Mintbase, post videos on YouTube, moderate the seminars, send airdrops to reward engagement to listeners who have a Near Wallet, do onboarding (if necessary) for the speakers, publicize it on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram - (200 USD).
• Speakers - (400 USD: 02 speakers x 200 USD)
• The third speaker will be paid by Incubadora DAO.

(All the payments in USD will be paid in NEAR or DAI, whichever is more convenient for the DAO, and NEAR value will be measured according to the exchange rate used by NEAR to pay the DAO)

The project was completed at the appropriate time.

Project Accounting:
The Seminars were both a success! Seminar #15 already has 299 views, and Seminar #16 already has 347 views. The September Seminars were mediated by Rosi Morokawa @rosasdulces. For the first time, we had a speaker from the Arts and Technology area, a professor at the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná (EMBAP/UNESPAR), which we consider positive, as it attracted a distinct audience, more connected to the arts and technology. The number of TPD’s Instagram followers has greatly increased, from 164 before the first Seminar to 246 ten days later, a 50% increase. We had a different art for advertising the September seminars, which attracted more attention. On the 28th, we had a delay of 30 minutes to start the Seminar due to problems with the speaker’s computer. 4 NFTs were produced from TPD Seminars, they were minted by @beetlejuice from The Philosophers DAO minter account.

Learning : Maybe the seminars will have more live audience if they are held in the evening, it’s something to test. We should ask speakers to test out the broadcast studio before the day/time of the talk.
