ACTIVITIES AND INITIATIVES FOR THE NEXT 2 MONTHS
Mission: To educate, guide, and retain Filipinos in the NEAR ecosystem.
Goal: To educate and onboard more and more Filipinos to NEAR Blockchain and to encourage them to take part in projects and activities in different communities in the NEAR Ecosystem.

To achieve further growth to our community and to actively perform events, giveaways and other activities, here are the deliverables that we will perform every month along with its budget and detailed description.
Proposed Deliverables

Videos are essential in attracting audiences in the online world. Since only a percentage of Filipinos are familiar with the blockchain, one of our ways to educate and encourage learning is through producing informative videos and events about the NEAR Protocol Blockchain.

We want to highlight the up and coming projects on NEAR so that’s why we reach out to them, interview what their project is about, and promote them on all our channels. We also interview some of our veteran and popular artists in the NEAR space because we believe that this will encourage and provide more opportunities to our community. We also do Artists Orientation in which we discuss and onboard aspiring NFT artists that want to know NEAR and sell their artworks on all platforms on NEAR such as Paras and Mintbase. Anything that is educational, helpful and interesting are what we aim to highlight on our videos.
Since we have started producing videos and uploading them on our YouTube Channel, we have received collaborations from different projects and communities because they are fascinated and impressed by our videos.

4x Live Interviews with Project Founders/Artists ~ 800 USD for 2 months
We personally reach out to these project founders/artists and we invite them for an exclusive interview to talk about their upcoming projects. Doing this, we do not only benefit from it, but also the said project as well because we upload this video on our Youtube Channel, we make infographics about them and we promote the interview and their project across our social handles.
We believe that by getting to know the people behind the projects will make their audience and future users feel at ease, they will also gauge whether the project is worth trying.

From the interviews that we conduct to these transcriptions. We aim to properly convey to our readers and followers everything about these said projects. Some might understand something just by watching and listening, others might not. Some are visualizers, others are readers. We convert our founder interviews to written ones so that those readers who don’t want to watch everything can just scan and read through the whole article.

4x Translations ~ 40 USD for 2 months
Value: Decentralization warrants inclusion. When people feel included, they may be more inclined to commit their resources, especially talents, to an institution within which people feel welcomed. In view of this, when non-English folks see that NEAR is including their mother tongue, that is good PR for NEAR.
Impact: Many of us in the NEAR ecosystem can attest to this fact: while English is the language of our minds, our mother tongue is the language of our hearts. Our mother tongue strikes a different chord in us. It’s visceral. One of our team members agrees with this. While this member is very proficient in English, this member started to well up in tears after this member started to hear a multimedia translation into this member’s mother tongue. (Notice we did not give any gender qualification here? This is just to keep this member’s identity private, another ethos of crypto: privacy). Nuff said here.

80x Graphics ~ 400 USD (for 2 months)
Value: NEAR is benefiting from the talents NEAR PH has. The infographics ninja in our team has been honing his skill over the last year so as to capture the message and translate that into a visually oriented mode. While NEAR is allowing us to hone our skill in this department, NEAR would be able to hire our talents for infographics whenever NEAR needs it.
- Impact: Not all information is created equal. Some are best conveyed in written words; others are better off in a diagram. Moreover, infographics can capture the essence of a concept. They can also provide alternative perspectives with which to appreciate a notion or a seemingly-esoteric concept.

We have already received our Event Funds for the month of May, so we won’t be asking anything for this month.
In our partnership with the Paras Comic Team, we will host a Short Comic Event that aims to not only grow the comic artists in the Paras community, but also to onboard and discover talented artists in the Philippines that have yet to know about Paras and the NEAR Blockchain.

The team plans to collaborate with PARAS to help host the event as well as judge the contestant entries. Winning entries will be featured on comic.paras.id

Contest Mechanics:
- A comic strip is no different from writing a short story. It needs a beginning, middle, and ending. Because this is a three-frame comic strip, break your story down into 3 parts.
- Write down your ideas for the characters, settings, expressions, and even speech. Make sure each part has some action and that your ending is powerful with an awesome punchline.
- Participants should write at least 3 A4 pages worth of story. And submit their entries to a google form the NEAR PH team will provide.
- The PARAS team will judge the submitted entries and (if possible) feature the top entries on their website [comic.paras.id]
Value: PARAS has some grants waiting, collecting dust, so to speak. With our contest, PARAS will be able to sponsor the launch of a comics project from NEAR Philippines’ community of artists. Moreover, the local comic scene is mainly an untapped potential.
Impact: We nurture the artistic talents of our community members through our events and contests. By being exposed to different forms of art, this time for instance in the form of comics, the artists can become more well-rounded in their craft.
NFT Contest: Theme: Your Way of Campaigning to Encourage People to Help Stop Climate Change (JUNE) ~ 400 USD
This event aims to highlight people to join the movement of protecting and preventing the irreversible effects of Climate Change. We want people who see these artworks reflect their actions and make small to big changes against Climate Change.

Not following the proper hashtags and will result in deductions of points.
- Top 8 best artworks will be chosen, with Top 3 as the overall winners. Top 4-8th will receive 1,000 PHP each.
Factors:
- The winners are based on the selected veteran judges that are surely proficient in their crafts.
- You can promote your artworks on any social media platforms.
- Posted artworks on Twitter with lots of reactions will give you a huge boost but won’t be guaranteed for a secured spot.
