Growing Forest and Growing Brez’n
In July the Brez’n@MotionDAO hub worked together on a project to apply “Forest Stillness” in another domain of participation: generating clean electricity from a solar rooftop, that makes consumers to prosumers, active participants in the electricity grid. The collaboration will be showcased in Lisbon, on July first, in an exhibition called Values of Sun sponsored by Younergy Crypto and in Programm together with the Sun performance “This is an NFT!” by @JeanneB and Dynamic Energy Budget (art, science & innovation DAO)
For this @solsista sourced data from solar projects and described the domain. Mariana @mcpoieses branched her algorithm that she used in Forest Stillness site-installation to feed in data from live solar rooftops’ electricity generation and consumption data. The power grid is fed by all sorts of power plants. In Portugal for example, where the installation is shown, the energy mix is largely oil and/or gas. With each solar rooftop and energy-efficient consumption of the clean electricity - more carbon emissions are avoided. The algorithms use this data to visualize carbon emission avoided from each solar project as a tree growing uniquely depending on these characteristics of sun and location and participation.
We will continue the conceptualization and variation of Grow a Forest in July.
In Coburg one more time Forest Stillness site-installation for the public event Opening Kühlhalle on July 7.
In collaboration with Z.C.D. new NFT Campaign in Satori Studio for this event.
Expected 40 new NEAR wallets created.
