Proposal: FUNDRAISING WORKSHOP II (INTERMEDIATE LEVEL): PROJECTS DEVELOPMENT

Proponent: Dra. Giovana Goretti Feijó de Almeida

NEAR account for payment: giogoretti.near

Objective:
Offer an intermediate fundraising course for DAOs, focusing on the elaboration of different types of projects. The course will be theoretical and practical.
This course is intended to bring opportunities for DAOs and to all the members of the ecosystem to become professionalized in management, project development and fundraising, aiming at the sustainability of the Near communities.

Project Timeline:

Organization and realization: once the project is approved
Workshop classes: to be defined after the project is approved
Portfolio delivery: at the end of the workshop

Benefits:
Sustainability:
To be a professional in fundraising, it is important to know the different types of projects that exist and are aimed at governments and companies. This knowledge is important because DAOs can also raise funds from institutions outside the metaverse. I emphasize that the fundraising activity is not easy, but it is essential to know the structure of different projects in order to be able to raise funds more easily. This can be done with technical training proposed in this intermediate course.

Costs and Tasks:
Compile the technical knowledge and best practices in fundraising activity and teach 2 classes of 2h each = 4h course - 180 USD in DAI
Assemble a bilingual ebook (pdf in Portuguese and English - 15p.) - 190 USD in DAI
Creation, design, minting and delivery of the course certificate - 30 USD in DAI

TOTAL: 400 USD in DAI

Deliverables:
04-hour course with a professional with more than 15 years of experience in fundraising in public and private organizations as well as in the elaboration of social, cultural and strategic projects for governments and companies.
01 certificate in NFTs format to participants who obtain at least 50% attendance.
01 bilingual ebook (pdf in Portuguese and English - 15p.) with an abstract of course highlights.

Speaker:
Dra. Giovana Goretti Feijó de Almeida, PhD in Regional Development, international researcher, advertising specialist in branding (strategic brand management). Did a year of mentoring with Ambev CEOs in Third Sector Management, worked with Brazilian NGOs in the sector of elaboration of socio-cultural projects and fundraising.
